Probably milk or just as pets. What are they raising goats for? Goat meat, goat milk or both?
I don’t think those are milking goats they look like Pygmy goats to me.We used to have them when our kids small. Worked great for keeping the mother in law away because the minute she pulled in and shut her car off they were on the hood.Probably milk or just as pets.
They've got 40+ chickens but they don't eat them. They just eat a hell of a lot of eggs every day.
I think they sell them too.

Man that thing is in too good of shape for that. I think.I think I found a use for Blueford, since it's been rendered obsolete by the diesel.

I'd buy it if you sold it to me for a buddy price. It's got a factory undercoat. And it's never seen road salt since I bought it in 2004.
But it's got light "wheel well cancer" in the back, and the previous owner bashed up the tailgate hitting a pole or something with it. Other than that & badly needing a good buff and wax, it's in good shape.
I bought it from an old guy in his 90's, and his son was there. The son told me the tailgate incident was recent and the truck was for sale because it was time to take the keys away from the old guy.
$700
Today it could sell for a few grand, mainly because of Obama's cash for clunkers program.
You're gonna end up with more vehicles than real estate.I'd buy it if you sold it to me for a buddy price.

Considering how we now start our cars from inside of our house with an app? Yeah, nobody is waiting 5 seconds for anything these days. But consumers don't want to have to wait 5 seconds to start their cars. And the car companies would lose a lot of business.
I just fired up Blueford. It hasn't been touched all winter. I was expecting to have to jump it.
It cranked a while & I think I cycled the accelerator pump 50 times but then it caught & fired up, idling smoothly.
It's just got a mechanical fuel pump that runs off the cam or something. It won't pump unless the engine is cranking.
Thinkin if I bypass it with an electric fuel pump I won't have to crank it so much to start it after it's been sitting.
But actually it's good to crank it over a bit with the starter before it fires up anyway. It gives the oil pump a chance to lubricate everything.
Cold starts cause the majority of engine wear. If automotive engineers wanted to design an engine that lasts forever they'd supplement the oil pump with an electric one that'll pre-lubricate the engine before the starter engages.
But consumers don't want to have to wait 5 seconds to start their cars. And the car companies would lose a lot of business.
