The split bench was a great thing. I didn't have to have my knees jammed in dash. It was better to ride in the back where there was a ton of room. Both parents were fairly short. No clue how I got over 6 feet.

When you finally do, you'll wonder why you waited. You also have to be in the correct position financially to make it pretty much worry free. Because I'm such a cheap SOB, I have/had no debt except the mortgage. If I can't pay cash, I don't need it. It's also hard to trace cash transactions.
