We aren't meant to live as long as we do with modern medicine instead of dying of Bears or an acute case of Vikings while still hale and hearty, we drag on so long the brain can't keep up with the body no more...

Life expectancy went up because infant mortality has dropped. We, as a society, are living just as long as before.

Then I used the rototiller to try to mellow out the ditch slope on the yard side.

I busted up the dirt and then dragged it out into a low spot in the yard with the tractor's grader blade.

It's really difficult to mow that side of the ditch because the slope is really steep.

But I need a better plan than the rototiller. It's too light. It just bounces up & down on top of the sod instead of digging in. I might try adding weights to it or something.

Try busting it up with a chisel plow or disk first.

I don't know if that tractor even has the power to pull a plow. The engine is worn out. Needs new rings.
