I did read her post and very well and thoughtfully said but when certain ppl are calling me a lier to what really happened and coming up there own stories,dam right I get mad.

Patty,we have been friends for a long time and i will remain your friend. i dont usually post on any thread that has argueing going on. but i have to say that you should read honey badgers post carefully because she makes a lot of sense.

I didn't read anything about anyone calling you a liar. Some were just wanting to know the rest of the story that you are not disclosing (what you said or did to make Jason mad enough to put you out, after he went through the trouble of securing you a ride home). I'm sure you have good lawyers, but do they know you are talking about your case on here? If not, you might want to let them know, because, as others have already said, it might make all the difference in the world. Lawyers don't like surprises, and it sure won't help you any when the **** hits the fan.

it goes with what i have been saying for some time now, either here in these posts or on other threads where Patty always does seem to NOT understand what is being said, or HOW it is being said. many times, i personally have had to "explain myself" to her because she "thought" i had said something which i never did, even Mustang, has had to tell her he did NOT SAY what she thought he had said... is it a comprehension problem, a quick reading of what is being said, a lack of knowledge about things in the real world, and how people communicate (??) i don't know. but I DO KNOW, that NO ONE has called her a liar AT ANY TIME, as you 2 have also NOT SEEN any such wording towards her.

in reading what she had said about her telling shippers NOT to load her trailer..?? as was posted here just a few posts before this one..?

she initiated her own demise with Jason. to blatantly tell customers NOT to load her trailer and talk ill will, will get anyone fired, and frankly, now that i have read this from her (quoted by someone else), she got what she deserved in spades. Jason had to save his butt, and she was expendable from that point on.

from this point, it doesn't really matter about Jason's trucks, trailers, etc,etc. she bad mouthed him and his business. now i have to wonder why she stayed so long, after her driving record got cleared up, and why she didn't file complaints while she was still employed..?? because right now, those complaints fall under the "sour grapes" category form disgruntled employee's..and may never be followed up on..oh sure ANY lawyer will take a case and PROMISE you the world..

But promises can and will be broken in court.

as i have said, and i will stand by this, NO ONE here hates or dislikes Patty, not even me. But to blatantly accuse some here of saying things that were never said, makes Patty look more the fool, and this (i DO believe) is NOT the first time Miss Patty has said others have said bad things about her..kind of a regular thing with her....

but in the end, Patty, again....NO ONE called you a liar...

you have a very unnatural way of interpreting things.

i do wish you well in your job search, and your possible court case, but frankly, i do not see you winning in either situation, you could be unemployed for a long, long time. Think Jason isn't going to "bend the law" and say more than he has to when you put him on your applications as your LAST employer..???

As for the rest of this thread, only person here who knows what happened is Patty. Maybe there is more to the story, maybe there isn't. Maybe the owner will show up here at some point and defend himself, maybe he won't. At this point though, I think a dead horse is being beaten severely.

I agree with most of what you said, except for someone disagreeing with her and therefore calling her a liar. Maybe I missed something. She made the whole thing public and inquiring minds wanted to know more, and asked questions that she will not answer.

I think a lot of this confusion started out with a bit of humor after Patricia joked about agreeing to a thread involving herself and others, and then when that humorous thread started (as a good choice to keep from ruining an otherwise serious thread), everyone took it too seriously. I mean really, who actually thought this board had called a meeting and only one member believed with what Patricia said, lol. Surely, I am not the only one who did not take that seriously.

This is what I don't understand,many many companies with violation after violation,accident after accident,bad safety rating,my last company is 100% but yet the D.O.T lets them go and gets the drivers instead.

The final decision whether or not to run is up to the driver. On my permits it says "permit accuracy is responsiobility of driver".

My boss stands by that, and will hang me out to dry in a heartbeat. But if I call the office and have a permit ammendend 27 times, he'll ask me why I haven't moved yet.

The story is the same. Dry freight, flats, oversized, whatever. Wheels ain't turning, you ain't earnin'.

The owners and companies want stuff moved, customers want stuff on time, it's UP TO THE DRIVER.

Until WE AS DRIVERS realize that, and stop things when they need to be stopped, the story will never change. I'm as guilty as most, I'll admit.

I'm sure that Bourbonnais guy was making pennies. But that's no excuse for beating a train. I don't blame the company, I blame the driver.

I live within walking distance from a little rag-tag flatbed operation. In addition to operating a fleet of junk, one of their drivers caused a passenger train derailment in 1999 which killed 11 people and injured 122 and caused $14,295,000 in damages just to the train and the tracks. I've been asked several times to drive for them but I see on their saferweb profile that they get an unusually high number of inspections and I don't need that kind of attention from DOT especially if I'm operating junk equipment with CSA in effect.

this is why i "warm up" my cold medicines first, the effects last so much longer.
