Best coffee

My mom always had a coffee pot full of maxwell house coffee at all times of the day. I learned to drink coffee at a really young age. I saw them drinking coffee every morning so I thought that I was supposed to as well. I have tried to give it up many times in my life, but I love the smell of coffee so much I could darn near eat the grounds out of a brand new opened can of maxwell house. It IS good to the last drop!

I started drinking coffee when I was 5. I am 50 now. I avg 36 cups a day. I switch from maxwell house to folgers. I like strong, black coffee. I fill the basket to the top with grounds. On the road I like mickey d's coffee, burger king (it was better before they switched brands) Hucks has good coffee, hess has the hyporjackanated or whatever they call it. That is good. starbucks? 36 cups a day? Holy crap Batmang! I have one 36 oz in the morning it lasts most of the day. Mickey D's is not bad,Not bad at all since they put forth an effort to make decent coffee. Pilot is good, The j is good. Tim Hortons is the best! Any coffee can be made to taste good by adding 18% cream.Thats the key.

I have that beat. I was at a gunshow once. I sat down to read something. I was thirsty, so I grabbed my ice tea and took a healthy swallow, only I didn't have an ice tea, I picked up someone's cup of chew spittle. I nearly threw up!

Years ago I worked for Digital and the local community college asked the company if they could spare an engineer to teach Fortran 101 as the professor was having an operation and could not teach the night course at all. I was picked.

So, there's this guy sitting in the front row and after an hour I said, I could have swore that coke bottle was empty and now it's half full????? He said, chewing tobacco. Half the class was ready to puke. We took a 15 minute break.

Starbucks is over priced liquid crap. Never have liked it and the prices they charge remind me why i don't. For a good cup on the go i like dunkin donuts or a cup from the gate gas station.


I remember back whenever whne there wasn't an ash tray around people would just use the beer bottle/can as the ash tray to dispose of cigarette butts and leave them laying around. You also learn to never leave an open can laying around that your still drinking because some fool thinks its an ashtray and drops there cig butt in there w/o you knowing. Yep happened to me. Took a big swig and got the cig butt in the mouth on the tongue. I just calmly spit it back in the can and acted like it didn't happen, and since nobody saw it, well it didn't happen then. It was just nasty, felt like i licked an ashtray. Not that i ever have but i'm thinking if i ever did, it would have tasted similar to that maybe even better.

There are other hazards endured by leaving an open beer unattended while outdoors. Like the thirsty little Yellow-Jacket that thinks you should be sharin' your brew. Pick up the can, take a sip, and, BAM!! It doesn't leave a bad taste in your mouth. In fact you can't taste much of anything for a while.

Open and chug... always cold, fresh, and, keeps the critters at bay.
