I know its a tough world and alot r in a bad place right now,But never give up I know it's a old saying but you never know what tomorrow might bring.

There are a lot of ppl giving up right now with the economy being so bad. Just because it may be picking up for you there are many who lost it all before that happened. Most of us have been touched by the bad economy and we do understand. Please don't give up, Please don't turn to vices that will destroy your body and mind. Please find someone to talk to; they might not have the answers you need, but they will give you a shoulder to lean on. I do not want to lose my friends to self-destruction, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, so please do not give up!

Now I am not talking about ppl who just got into the trucking industry after so many ppl advised them that this was not the time to do so. I am talking about ppl who have been in it for years and have weathered the ups and downs and this time the down was too much.

Nope has to do if someone is hurting or confused and has problems that they belive there is know way out and just need to talk.
Life is hard now for alot of people...................

about two months ago i got a text message at 2am in the morning from an old friend i had not seen in awhile. all the message said was "i love you". two days later my mom called and told me they found him dead in his home. he had shot himself. his son passed away last year and he was laid off his job. his parents have long since passed away. he was estranged from his wife. i had intended to call him but forgot cuz i was half asleep when i read his message. guess he didnt have anyone to vent to. wish i had called him as soon as i got the message. i had a gut feeling something wasent right. he and i went back to grade school together and im 51 years old now. tough pill to swallow. i will be haunted by this for the rest of my days. thanks for listening guys and may gods speed be with you all!

I feel for you, suicide is contagious, 4 guys from my old unit have committed suicide, there were only 20 of us all together, half of us, including my self have been diagnosed with PTSD, some of us handle it better then others.
