Where Are You Parked Tonight? Check-In Thread

At home today, same as most of yesterday. Took the truck back to the windshield shop to get the leak addressed. I ran when I could up until this point to avoid as much water coming inside as possible.

The problem with running your own company, and running one truck, is that gambles sometimes have to be made.

My gambles have been with trying to avoid rain while having a leaking windshield that could damage components inside the truck. I run when I can, park when I feel like that is the best option.

Got the call today, truck is ready to pick up once again. They pulled the windshield, and said that was easy to see the area that was leaking at that point. Fixed the leaking area, replaced the windshield again, and said I could come get the truck.

I will pick it up tomorrow, and hope that all is well at this point.
That's how it goes sometimes.

Make sure whomever does your windshield cleans it to the bare metal and primes it again.

Safelite redid my century 3 times before I forced them to stop trying to just glue to poorly adhered adhesive to the frame.

Parked at the Love's in Lodi, California. Just completed a load from Springdale Arkansas to Stockton California. Didn't manage to book another load for tomorrow yet, so back up early in the morning to work on that again.

Meanwhile, the new Non Domiciled CDL rule went into effect today.

@Mike How much is the fuel where you are at?

Arrived in Morris, Illinois from Stockton, California on Friday evening, and delivered to Costco on Saturday morning. Spending the weekend here at the TA, unless a weekend load pops up that is good enough to get me to move. It has been nonstop from Arkansas to California and back to Illinois, so a rest and time to catch up on website stuff is a good thing.

I usually stick to a basic anti-gel during the winter months, especially when heading north. I’ve noticed it helps with smoother cold starts, but I’m still on the fence about using cleaners every fill-up. Curious to see what others are running for better MPG.
