what's the best way to deliver shipping containers?

hey guys,

Looking for guidance! I sell shipping containers, and up until this point, have been an affiliate, where I send the leads to a container company who sells and delivers the containers.

I'm trying to branch out on my own, but I am missing a big piece which I can't seem to figure out. How to deliver empty shipping containers from the ports to the customer's home or business at affordable rates?

The quotes I'm getting are 2-3x the price of what the container company I send leads to is paying for delivery (I'm able to see the delivery costs whenever I get paid out on a container sale).

So, I'm obviously paying retail rates or looking in the wrong places. For the most part, the delivery distance is under 200 miles and I believe they're using tilt bed and gooseneck trailers when delivering. Are those the best options?

The delivery fees I'm seeing are usually in the $400 - $600 range, which I can't even get close to with the quotes I'm receiving.

Any insights on what I should be doing or where I should be looking?

I'm thinking that unless you have a top pick, you are going to have to have a roll off type of truck to position the conex box to where it can slide right off as you pull forward. Maybe a heavy tow truck with a deck similar to a Landoll.

Roll off is the way one was delivered to me years ago.
