The War Path

I can always send Sandy out on the east coast jobs. She’s part injun. She’s always mad at me for something so all I gotta do is redirect that energy onto someone else. :toothpick:

You ain't learned much about native women if you think that.

:rolllaugh:

I beg to differ, sir.

Little woman ordered a pool for the [two youngest] grandkids for Thursday [yesterday] delivery because it wasn't in stock near home...
Because we had scheduled a secret surprise weekend [Omaha Zoo] which got postponed and she didn't want them to be disappointed.

Order info said Thursday delivery but the email from the delivery company said 6/26.
The pool wasn't delivered yesterday...
and today, she was on the phone with everyone in the chain!
:paddle:

Long story short...
the terminal manager of the delivery company dropped off the pool this [Friday] evening in his PV after he clocked out.

And she is only, like, 1/8 Cherokee...
plus a smaller fraction of I don't recall...
but the pool is about half full right now...
And I promised to hook up the steam washer pool heater later on so the boys could be swimming by noon...
'cause,
you know,
I ain't too smart...
but I ain't stoopid!!

She plays for Blood....
except when it comes to the grandchildren.
:biggrin-2:

Last time you got scalped, she took one of the two unfried brain cells you got left, huh?

Mine is a 1998 Sierra 1500 Z-71 4x4 with extended cab. Love it.
See a lot of those Z-71 4 X 4s here in Anchorage. The majority of vehicles here are 4 X 4s. And when there is a new snow they find ditches more frequently than the 2-wheelers. This phenomenon might be explained by a corollary of the rubric: "Pride goeth before a fall." My favorite Chev. pu was the 68 that I occasionally used when I was a firefighter in Richmond. I don't think it could haul all that much. It was mostly used to move big air bottles to the cascades at each station for recharging our Scotts. That Chevy was one comfortable truck. Not so my Jimmy. I guess I should put some of that fancy air suspension on it.
