The War Path

Hey if ya'll are getting rocket engines then I want rocket engines.

Ha ha ha ha.

I was telling @Duck I have model rockets that are 5 and 6 feet tall. The engines require a license to buy and the launch requires permission from the FAA. The engines that I buy have the optional white smoke. The generate a huge amount of smoke about 3 seconds before the launch and keep putting out the white smoke the whole way. They can cover about 5 acres of land in a heart beat with thick heavy smoke.

I'm not knocking you. I couldn't have done it. I probably would have got by him on a hill then slowed him down on the next hill. Only if I was light though. Then I would have figured out his govern speed and done 1mph more. I would have been pizzed to the max.

One thing that ticks me off is when I'm heavy in the hills & there's an empty Swift or other fleet truck governed slower than mine. We play leap-frog on every hill. He passes me on the uphill, then he gets in my way on the downhill & in the flats, etc. It's annoying.

But what I do in those cases is think of who caught up to who. If I had gradually caught up to him, I'll just keep playing leap-frog & run my speed up a little higher (I can put the hammer down & go 68 but we only cruise at 65) and if he caught up to me, then I'll just back off & let him get ahead of me.

I would say, Yous twos need to go work at NASA. Never mind, They are laying off. We will have more rocket surgeons out here on the road driving trucks.

Noon your time or @Duck time? bet you never thought of that! lol
The establishment of time zones won't be for a few hundred years yet. As the civilization grows & expands around the globe, then they'll become necessary. Until then, it'll simplify the data collection process for the explorers if they are never confused about what time it is when the time is relevant to the data they are compiling.

I'm gonna stick to Sim City for now.
Well that saves us the trouble of having to compile all of the knowledge that has been discovered & recorded by mankind & converting it all to digital format so it can be used for reference on the new planet if we ever need to build something like a hydroelectric power plant & nobody we bring happens to know how to make concrete from scratch.

Way to highjack her thread huh? I can just see Injun running down the road saying, get out of my thread you retards. In fact, why don't you blast off into outer space right now!

Actually, I was wondering how you and ol' Ducky were planning on starting a civilization without any girls.

Duck and I are moving to a new planet and arguing at the moment on how progress should be governed. We launch at noon.

Nevermind. Some questions just should not be answered.
:stare2:

I was going to say that:rolleyes:

I didn't knuckle under to anybody. That ***wipe wanted to pick a road fight and I just refused to cooperate. I could have passed him eventually, but at what cost? My fuel, needless wear on my truck, my nerves and possibly causing an accident by stirring the idiot up? Add to that the very real potential of wetting my pants because my molars were floating on a yellow sea. Peeing was more important to me at the moment than participating in a game of road rage.

You done the right thing. Save your stuff for the right fights.

It's a big space ship. We'd be bringing around 100 people, carefully selected from Earth's population for their physical & intellectual qualities. Obviously mixing in a near 50/50 ratio of males to females would be one of the most first & most basic tasks in selecting the people to bring. :bonk:

just install a real-time hyperspace link from your new planets admin server to a server on earth somewhere, then you can just hook up google if you need to learn something.

Alternatively, run out a fibre optic cable behind you as you fly.

Your our science officer Duck. Make note of this
