i have a friend that turned a 1955 porshe 911 into a tesla!! it's all eletric theres 6 batteries in the thing and he can go 300 miles with it. he charges it up using his solar panels and it takes like 3 hours to charge from what he says. and it's fast you mash the gas it will go 100 MPH. there's no wating time for the motor to build up rpm's like a combustion engine. as well as there's barley any maintance on it like a combustion engine counter part except for changing the batteries every 3 years. though i find it strange driving a porshe without a combustion as this thing is completely quiet
