sir, Dlittle

I am sure that law firm is very expensive so please ask yourself is it really worth all of this and all the money to do this when we are talking about a few $20.00 memberships in question?

Yours Truely,

THE CONGRESSMAN

I really don't think this website was formed to do these kind of things here.
i really truely believe that this website was intended for truckers to talk about issues concerning them and to vent a bit.
this bashing people and organizations must really stop and i really feel strongly on this
please take this for what it is, i would really like to have a place on the web that there is no fighting between people or organizations and would wish the admin here would remove all this non-sense
I believe you have your own website and forum, maybe you should hash this thing out there instead of here!
Yours Truely,

THE CONGRESSMAN

It is not the money, never has been. It's the fact that charlie served as a state rep for the OOU Inc & then openly lied about the membership's

honesty is the only leg the trucking industry has to win our battle in washington.

I asked charlie to resign as a state rep for the state of NY

I posted the reason for the request openly for all to see.

The OOU Inc belong's to it's member's, and they have a right to know why I made this request of charlie.

I'm sure he has his hands full at the tacu as it is anyway. but I owe it to my membership base to protect them & also keep them informed of what is going on.

If charlie wants to settle this in court than that is ok with me also.
With or without him resigning, the exec board meet tonight and voted to remove him as state rep untill he came forward & showed proof of where the membership's are or why he claimed he had them when indeed he did not.

Money never was the issue, TRUST is the issue.

You hit the nail on the head, this is an issue that affects all drivers, it's called Trust.

I am not now nor have I ever bashed any other association. including the TACU
They have several good people that not only belong there but also belong to the OOU, & OOIDA, ect

This issue was posted openly to show all drivers that the OOU will always stand for truth. win lose or draw.

And yes this same post is currently running on SEVERAL different web sites, and ALL OOU Inc sites

Thank you, Congressman. This is a site intended for truckers, and American citizens, to talk about issues concerning our industry and nation.

How about y'all discuss the more important issue of voting this Nov. 4th. I read where a member of one of these organization's is under the impression there as been no other actions by other's that she was aware of...amazing.

We have an opportunity to remove every single U.S. Representative and 33 Senators this coming election. We, as a nation, literally have the power to show this current congress we are fed up with their ignorance to act in the interest of Americans, and their continued abusive run-away spending of lately...use the power of our vote to remove (fire) the current incumbents.

Let's get on a new battle ground with the 111th Congress, when it convenes.

Be carefull what you wish for.

The OOU currently has within its membership base 3 senators, 4 US rep's & 2 state Governors, this does not take into account local officals thru out the states.

We are working hard to have people on the inside that we can count on to get things done.

Thanks
Dan

Your right , NOV 4TH VOTE

With all due respect, Dan. This current congress has done nothing more than allow with inaction the destruction of our great nation, our professional drivers and our industry - in the name of posturing for the presidential election, and the abusive run-away spending during these last few weeks.

I'm not intending to display any disrespect to your members, or your associations. But I have personally visited D.C. last April and spoke with senator's, representative's and their legislative assistant's...and have since watched this current congress (both the senate and house of the 110th), ignore the American people's voice and waste time. Now the 110th Congress is spending hundreds upon hundreds of billion's of taxpayer's dollars, a humongous portion to bailout banks (I have been paying very close attention to what they are planning to do with the first $250 billion.) And now they're introducing even more spending bills before the possibility of a "lame-duck" session...which with the current actions of this 110th congress - I have no doubt there will be a lame-duck session.

And while all this is going on...I have yet to hear any true opposition being voiced by any senators or representatives. Would it be possible to hear about the positions of these senators and representatives within your membership. It would be nice to at least hear their stance on the lastest round of actions not truely benefiting professional drivers and American citizens. I, for one, would like to know why the senate is holding up the cross-border program issue in committee, when they were in full support, and concurred with the first attempt last february to stop that program (I believe there's a game being played and the bill is being held in committee until less than 10 days are left before adjourning so the president can inact a "pocket veto,") thereby allowing the posturing of congress doing something for Americans.

What I wish for is Americans showing up at the polls in full force and VOTE. And use our voting power to remove those incumbents which have put our great nation in the precarious situation we are in.

Just my respectful opinion - justified by the actions of the 110th Congress...

Closing this nonsense.

The posting of the original news was plenty. This is not the place to discuss who is going to sue who. Any further personal debate of who did what needs to be discussed among yourselves.

Anybody who may have registered here simply to get involved in this debate needs to decide now whether they want to be a productive member of the community or not, because this isn't the place for it. Any further mention of it anywhere on this forum will result in an immediate banning. I don't have time for these games.
