Looking at Toyota Tundra...

They're running a special that's 0% APR for 60 months on 2019 models with $3000 down.

What are the different trim levels?

What's the difference between a CrewMax and a Double Cab?

I'm looking at the local dealership's site now.

But I have like 90 tabs open and I'm starting to wig out.

I dunno. Looking like it’s going to be a Chevy anyway.

Fords making a diesel half ton that seems decent, so does Chevys but they’re not EPA approved for 2020 yet so who knows what will actually end up on the market.

F150 twin turbo 6 cylinder could barely tow groceries home much less my loaded up ATV trailer.

An F250 is the size of a small village...

With the Tundra you’re getting average 15mpg...but Toyota’s are pretty durable...

Argh.

Have you tried this yet? I have one of these, and it seems to have quite a bit of power. Haven’t had a trailer behind it though.

Almost bought a Tundra before getting the F150, seemed like a pretty nice truck.

As for half ton diesels, don’t forget the Nissan has one as well with a CumminGs in it.

I like Tundra but the MPG is not so great and I’ll be commuting with it. But Toyota durability cannot be denied.

They’re discontinuing that Nissan with the Cummins because it’s so fantastically puke-inducing and ugly that it’s a safety hazard.

With the twin turbo V6 F150, I myself can average 24-26mpg, depending on how I drive it. Even better if I want to drive it like I drive the KW, but I don't drive tend to drive like that when I am at home. Constant interstate and flatland (which there is none anywhere near me), I might push it even higher.

BTW I never did find the answer to the difference between doublecab and crewmax.

that link tells you all you need to know, I think.

The cab is significantly larger in the crewmax, larger doors and everything. Basically, the folks in the back have the same room as the folks in the front. Tradeoff is, shorter bed.

Double cab has less room up front, but you can get the larger bed options.

Yeah. I'll sacrifice some mpg for decent towing. I'm looking into it now to verify @nan claims...

Yep what he said. I have a 2018 double cab with the 5 7 in it. Happy with it so far.
