George Chuvalo died yesterday on his 89th birthday.
I remember watching a replay of his boxing match against Muhammed Ali. I had no idea who George Chuvalo was. When the match was over, I said what the fuck, that white guy beat Ali! But by score they awarded the win to Ali.
One of the older guys at the Legion where I was watching this re-run fight on T.V said you never seen this fight before?

That's George Chuvalo. He did win but the score was in favor of Ali.
I later learned more about Chuvalo. Chuvalo said after the fight Ali went to the hospital and Chuvalo went out dancing.
I didn't know at the time that George went to the same Italian bakery that I went to, to buy the big eatalian sangwidges.
I never got to meet him.

But it was originally imported from Canada so calling it Canadian isnt really wrong.
Calling it bacon is wrong. But my point stands that you have it up there you just don't call it the same thing.

We Americans may have some inaccurate names for things, but at least we don't have a food called "spotted dick" like our weird-ass friends across "the pond".

Even in a shunt truck I rarely blindside. Here is why.
There is no upside to it. You can blindside 100 times and no one says a word. Fuck it up just one time and you never hear the end of it and have real problems!
Better to go around a sightside it. Paid by the hour and safety bonus.

No lies detected. Blind side only when it's not an option.
When my regular customer tries to make me park in a blindside spot I fight them like a cat taking a bath. I only do it when I have 3 open spots around my target.
I blindsided more often with the day cab because it had a huge rear window. No damn way I'm doing it with the convex mirrors on the sleeper.
