Not to be mean, but better you than I. I'm getting too old to push that crap around.
But maybe I should so I won't get so old so fast! A few years of that will get you in shape.
Up here in Ill-annoy, our strong geezers stay put, while the weak ones move to Florida.
The smarter ones
leave this communist shithole stay here and buy a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
We've had a hell of a lot of snow here this winter so far.
Not as much as Hillbilly Canuck, but more than usual.
But I haven't touched the snowblower or the tractor once so far.
I just sweep off the concrete by the back door.
Huge snow drifts between the house and the driveway? No problem, just put that 1 ton 4wd dually diesel in 4wd and drive it through the drifts, then we can follow it's tire tracks to the driveway.
Can't get the van up to the shop to plug in a charger? No big deal, just drive the diesel to the shop, then follow it's tire tracks with the van.
Van gets stuck? Well there's a 50 foot tow strap in the back seat floorboard of the diesel.
But we haven't had a snow emergency yet. My definition of snow emergency is not "the roads are bad", it's "the weight of the snow is going to make the roof cave in".. as shown in one of the pictures
@Hillbilly Canuck posted.
His house I assume is built to handle a heavy snow load, much like yours is designed to handle hurricane winds.
But where I live, if I had that kind of snow accumulation on my roof, I'd be taking action to reduce that weight.
