Life in Sector 7 G.

If I see they need a quick hand, I have no problem with it. I call it just being civilized to another human being.

I'm going to be there one day and I hope someone steps up for me when I need it. :grandpa:
About 15 years ago maybe more now I put up a motion light at my wife's grandparents' cabin and got it working right. All that time ago and Pop STILL talks about it sometimes. They're in their 90s and don't even have that cabin anymore. A bit of a soft spot for old folks though is something I remember my dad taught me very young. It's just too bad he never got to be one.

Snowing heavy and windy here. Not quite a blizzard but close.
We are getting the lake effect that Buffalo usually gets but the winds are blowing the other way. I am sure Buffalo is happy about that.

I was terrified driving home, not because of my ability but the lack thereof of other drivers. Complete jackasses!
I left my nice buffer zone from the car in front of me, and wouldn't you know it; some pinecone slips into that space just to get to the gas station.
You knew the gas station was on the right side, why are you in the left lane you dildo with ears?

Just like exit ramps. These twats can't handle going a measly 65mph for even a minute so they zoom around you then jump off the exit in front of you with only feet to spare.

Wicked snow, bad driving conditions. I damned near turned around and went home halfway on my drive to work but, I made it. A few of us from our department didn't make it. Many from other departments didn't make it in.
It was a slow but challenging day.
The GM bought us all pizza. The under-bosses thanked us for coming in.
Glad to be back at home again.
More snow on the way tomorrow. Should be fun

It's 34F out in my backyard this morning. My dog walk was quick as he wanted about 100' of leash to be able to run and play. We still did our 2.5 miles and then made breakfast on the grill on the porch. Just fire off an extra burner, that'll help keep you warm.

We're on the third day of a big thaw. It's supposed to get to 12 degrees today. I hope for just a little bit more to make some of the walking around outside easier before it drops back down tonight. Rain on top of plowed snow = ice rink. Morton doesn't have the salt budget for this place and we hate tracking that shit in so that's not happening.

I was going to take a picture of the huge snowbank so you'd see what one looked like. LOL
Enjoy the great weather. Here right now the struggle is real. 🤣

Snowplow kinda plowed my car in. 🤔 Hmm... I analyzed the type of snow and figured it was the light and fluffy type and I could probably just drive over the small snowbank they created and not get stuck. I was right.
I am not shoveling that shit if I don't have to!
Other people shoveled out their parking space. IMO not my job!
Unless I am stuck, I am not shoveling anything!
I didn't even own a shovel until a few years ago when this shit new management took over and does a terrible job of snow removal. Part of the reason for living in a building is to not have to shovel snow.

I'll admit, I never shoveled snow in my life and have no intention of doing so.
I never have shoveled until a few years ago. I don't recommend it. It sucks!
Many people have heart attacks shoveling snow.

Wealthy people winter in Florida and Arizona and pay people to shovel their snow at their homes while they are snow birding.

See...come June - October, you can commiserate with me having heat stroke while you enjoy warm days and cool nights. It all comes around. Your time is just a few months shorter.

Big WEF meeting in Davos, are they seriously just doing this WEF right out in the open?
Anyone belonging to or attending WEF should be eliminated.

I got to get a job as a weatherman. Maybe you need an education but, I don't see why it would be needed.
You predict the weather and are wrong, absolutely wrong.
The boss says, ya, I know you got everything wrong today but come back tomorrow and try again.
In markets like California, you would be right most of the time. Yup sunny again. Next few months will be sunny. Not even sure why they have a weatherman.

I say this because the weather folk and apps were saying snow in the morning ending by afternoon.
Updated to snow ending by 14:00. No wait, 16:00. No wait, 18:00. No wait. 20:00.
It just kept snowing all day and night.
