MN's not really mad at me though. He's mad at how our country has (d)evolved from what it was originally thought to be. We just kinda got off to a rough start. I'm actually the type of officer, who wouldn't do, some of things I said "I was allowed" to do. Because if I did, IMO, I would be violating his rights, even though the courts disagree with us(MN and I). But that discussion is over with I hope. Probably not, but one can always hope.
Carried the same, I always understood we had more in a squad than you had in a platoon.
Thanks.ahhh! Well, thanks for your service. Sorry to hear about your med condition. No pun intended, LOL.
I had 24 in my squads. Had a regular duty squad and the SRT squad.No, pretty much the same stuff. Difference just being the number of soldiers, which of course gave you more fire power.

Thanks.
It cost me that second rocker though. The day I got my " you served the army" banner, the unit I was in activated for Iraq. Bitter sweet day.
A certain rampaging lunatic embarrassed me today with his support for what he thought was my view on the 30 break. It immediately devolved into little more than a rage fest against e-logs. I didn't even get to read the third page before it got deleted.I agree with the 30 min.
But it would make even more sense to just scrap the 30 break entirely.
I cut my teeth on one of these....
Rather miss it too.

@Sapper
I have yet to see a viable justification for forcing me to split my day and steal a half hour from me that I'd rather be parked at my end-of-shift destination winding down instead of still on the road. It forces (if a driver runs out his hours) a near 12-hour day behind the wheel. It doesn't take me a half hour to get out of my truck, use the bathroom and stretch my legs.
"We don't gitta take'a brake" was intended to request flexibility on the 14. It was misinterpreted to mean "That mean ol' comp"ny won't let us stop for a minute." Mainly because illiterate, less-than-articulate imbeciles were chosen to represent our interests.
If you know of a justification for further narrowing our control over our own schedules (as adults) from your own driving experience, I'd sure like to see it..
Seriously, it's the most minor regulation change I can think of since the nationwide banning of radar detectors. Which was HUGE...for you rookies.
