cat engines might be making a come back to the us!!! no piss tank on the side of the truck and a newly designed DPF so no more going into limp mode!!! we shall see how it all plays out... right now it's a limited run

I feel like I'm the only one on this forum that actually likes most aero trucks.
I've been watching a hot female British trucker and she's got a Volvo cabover. It doesn't even bounce or shake. Looks so smooth. And it's packaged super well with the microwave in the overhead compartment, passenger seat that swivels and has a table that slides out of the dash, mini blinds that roll down for the windows, etc. Fridge is under the bed (I think).
They're available up to 780hp from the factory.
There isn't a shit ton of room but there's enough.

"CONVENTIAL" Cabs and 53 Footer trailers became the New Standard on the "USA" Highways..
In Europe and other places roads are allot "Narrower" than "USA" so Cabovers and 40 footer trailers still "King" over there..
Cabovers have also improved in bunk space and creature comforts simce the "Old Days"..
My Unlce back in the 1970s gotta Trucking Job let me ride along with him in the summer outta school afew turns..
YA dont know how "Lucky" ya got it "Today"..
His old Cabover had no microwave ot refrigerator ..
Ya hadda climb over the motor get inside the sleeper bunk..
He wired a Small Color Tv set the batteries hung an antenna off the back of truck on a mount so we could watch tv we got stuck somewhere ..
Food Storage was not an issue back then Restaurants were alot cheaper back then ya just saved a sandwhich some chips ya got stuck somwhere awhile.

I was at a Touch a Truck event with my grandson last weekend and a young fellow had a 1974 Cabover Freighliner that he had done a fantastic job restoring. It was probably twice as old as he was. I wish I would’ve gotten pictures. Brought back a lot of memories.lol
