It's turned on. Only the mechanics can use the wash bay. They wash out reefers and wash their personal vehicles.

I think Trailer Wash is enough that a chain could "dedicate" 2 that so there ain't a 2 mile line.
Now I understand being Food Products an Old Timer had an electric leaf blower and on your way up set that temp to zero it'll be Frozen no smells when ya drop it.
Take your paperwork in and hook the other and hit the freeway

I think the most "Nastiest" disgusting thing I ever smelled.

Thats probably a good thing. I saw a Pumpkin tractor sitting there once that had half so much damage it made that USA truck video look tame.
That guy maybe git hung up behind that store in Lisle, IL. 8 or 9 times.
Anyway you damn sure don't want that guy trying to get into a wash bay...

That's how the rail is. You get an oil change PM wash but they sneak it up there and don't tell you when it was done.Yep. Walmart Dedicated in Sterling, IL. If I ever get to Gary Indiana I can ask for a wash. But that poor old '16 beater might fall apart.
I might have gotten a truck washed once my entire time there.

I used to drive some pretty nice rides, KW's Petes, Ect. The company and I always kept up the cleanliness of the trucks.
Now I share a day-cab truck with another driver. He loves his fast food and snacks. Sometimes I wonder how much of the food actually goes into him as compared to what ends up on the floor?
I ain't cleaning it up.
It's a what ever man, I chuck all his crap that he leaves in the truck to the passengers side.
4 jackets,
3 pairs of used gloves,
2 pairs of footwear, 1 pair work boots,1 pair casual shoes.
1 six pack of Mountain Dew, containing 4 full bottles of Mountain Dew.
1 grocery bag containing 4 smaller bags of chips and various salty snacks.
1 small package of beef jerky.
This guy would forget his head if it wasn't screwed on properly!

I couldn't do that, it would gross me out.
Told my staff to keep the trucks clean, and they get checked by me regularly, usually look good.

I hear ya! Years ago a messy truck would make me insane-(er), but I go home every day at 15:00, so, I don't raise a fuss.
Piss in a Mountain Dew bottle and put it with his six pack. He’ll get the message…

I usually wash my truck at home. Sat 7/2 found my load got canceled so took my TONU and headed to the blue beacon in Corning CA at 08:00 on my way home. I could see from the freeway no one in driveway. Pulled in they open the bay and was in and out almost before I was done paying. Just tractor trailer was good enough
