Emergency cooking

I just saw this and thought in an emergency type situation this might be appreciated. Not only is it a small wood fueled campstove, but generates a small amount of electricity for charging small appliances like a cell phone, LED light, maybe a laptop?

[MENTION=1614]rebel[/MENTION], have you ever made one of those little camping stoves out of the 24 oz keg-shaped Heinekin cans? They're pretty simple, weigh nothing, and they burn alcohol.

No, but they look neat.
I know what the little "keggers" are that you're talking about.
We do have a few similar types that we've used during power failures. They're store bought and use sterno (methanol).

Which reminds me, I've yet to finish my woodstove installation..........it's July and 95*!
But passing an entire orchard of uprooted apple trees yesterday (replanting time) did remind me of what it wood(sic) be like to cook with it.
