I've got one of each..road pro & Burton & use them all the time. The ideas are endless add to what you can make in those things. I even baked cookies in the road pro just because I wanted to see if it would work..used pre made cookie dough squares..it only fits 3 dough squares in there & you'll need to fluff up the bottom with foil do they won't burn. Vent the lid with 2 pens to let the steam out and let it act like an oven. Sadly, it takes about 45 min to bake them, but I didn't care..at least my curiosity knows now how they turn out..
Keep some fingerling potatoes, onions & soft tortilla shells with you..they last a long time. You can make quesadillas (small ones..) in these cookers with leftovers. No onions? Keep a few packs of the onion packets from the condiment area with you if ya run out of fresh onions.
The Burton cooker is deeper & you can regulate the temp on it, unlike the road pro. I like them both.
Made grilled cheese in them (with the lid vented or opened so it didn't get soggy..), fresh meat tacos, roasts, Turkey breast cutlets, wings (baked, of course) with sauce added at the end, fresh coffee (they sell coffee tea bags at most stores), rice (buy the plastic packet rice that's already partially cooked..it cooks up fast in these things), scrambled eggs (I use egg beaters in the carton so nothing bursts by any chance thru different elevations..). There's almost nothing you can't really cook up in these things..they're awesome. I'm on my 2nd Burton cooker (my fault the first one crapped out..) and I'm on my 3rd road pro. I use them daily.
I avoid truck stop food as much as possible..same shit at every place..
Heavy duty foil will be your best friend as well as the dispose tin loaf pans.
If you're road pro craps out, first check the fuse in the side of the cooker..it may simply need to be replaced. If the fuse is ok, unscrew the plug because there's a good chance that teeny bit of solder they use to connect everything came apart (that cthappens from pulling the plug out of the socket & happening to pull the cord with the plug). If you've got solder & a soldering iron this is an easy fix. I've fixed mine twice already over the years. You may need a third hand to help hold the wire while you're soldering, or a small alligator clip. It sure beats spending the money to buy another new cooker.
Happy cooking!!

Iffen, the media ever want to gain the hearts and minds of the public to change the truck driver image, They would capture video of two truck drivers exchanging recipes

. not all companies allow them because of some nut jobs needing to run 300 things at once and burning the trucks down
. the same with apu's it wasn't only the payback factor but i am sure that drivers not taking care of them had something to play when they stopped installing em
