EC's Going For It

I already got a ticket for an expired plate on it once. I ain't doing that again. šŸ˜‚

I sold mine but my dad still has his tow dolly so it's easy enough to drive it up on, strap it down and sayonara.
When I dropped Bluey off to get it's brakes fixed, I didn't want to bother the old man so I just tossed the minibike in the back & rode it home. Rode it back to pick it up too.

It's 2 miles down a 4 lane state highway.

I didn't give a damn. šŸ˜Ž

He could like I dunno NOT be a cunt but that's usually too much to ask in that part of the country. I had one in a scale in Ontario waste a good couple HOURS of my time because the boss hadn't signed the registration for the truck.
I caught that same ticket/warning at the Lincoln scale QEW east bound.
Ownership not signed. It was a Paccar lease truck.
I got shut down because I was near the end of my hours. (had I not got pulled in I intended on driving to Brampton and fixing my paper log later).
In the morning I Signed the F'N ownership.
I told the boss that I had signed it. He said no worries, lease truck anybody signs those how in hell would they know they just want it signed.

They couldn't get me on anything else and believe me they tried. The best they could do was unsigned ownership.

No shit. That was the day I learned you go around Whitby every single time no matter what.

I got caught going around Oakville. Oakville cops issues me a summons to attend the Oakville scales.
MTO guy at Oakville scale does his inspection. After that he askes where did they catch you?
I said Wyecroft Rd.
He asked what did you tell them?
I told them I got off at fourth line to get a coffee.
He says they didn't believe you?
I said I guess not because here I am.

I think he still works there. Not a bad guy when you get talking to him after inspection. Derek is his name. He is not a dick, just a guy doing his job.

My Milwaukee 1/2 cordless impact has been stalling out on me lately. I first noticed it last fall when I was trying to do the shocks on the sleeper. It will hammer for a couple seconds then just nothing. It makes a racket but it's obviously not impacting.

Kinda sad because I haven't exactly been a heavy user like a full time mechanic would be. But Stockholm Syndrome being what it is I went to Home Depot today and got its successor. It wasn't on sale or anything but I only got one shock replaced in the fall the winter hit so I need to get the rest done.

I kinda got into money making mode since I was out of work for so long and since it wasn't an obvious problem put it out of mind and figured I'd attack it again in the spring. Which is now.

Before I spend the coin on any new tires I want to make sure it has all new shocks and an alignment first.

As soon as I got home with it I immediately tried it and it wasn't a magic bullet to freeing the rust jacked bolts, but it didn't stall out either.

I think if I get an oxygen/acetylene torch like my dad has except smaller and more portable, I'll be able to heat them up enough to free them, or cut them out. Whichever comes first.
