I once hit two deer on 70 just before the PA turnpike, they were part of a herd was going around a bend several cars took out a few in front of me and deer were all over the road!
forgot to mention I was driving a cab over at the time!!!

Had to dick around with a trailer today. Pulled it from the rail, bill said it was shy of 39k. The air bags didn't read heavy enough and I thought it was a little odd. Then I got on the interstate and BUCKING BRONCO! I pulled off to the TA and it scaled over 36k on the trailer and only 24k on my drives. No freaking wonder. I moved it a total of 9 holes to get it legal. It was still lighter than I'd want on my drives but at least I got through the scale house okay. I would have run out of holes before it was evened out, so I figured I'd make it no longer than necessary instead and tolerate the ride. It still bucked but not nearly as bad. I couldn't wait to get rid of it though.

Strange deal today. My sole purpose was to take an empty to a small place in Preston MD to start a drop and hook pool.
I get down there and they had no idea what I was talking about. He called another guy at a different site and he didn't know either. I got there right at lunch so he said give me 30 minutes and I'll talk to my boss and call you. So I waited the half hour. Heard nothing. Went back inside and he said his boss hasn't gotten back to him yet. I say okay fine and give them another half an hour. Still nothing. I call dispatch and she says if you want to wait longer you can otherwise just leave. They should know about this.
Another guy came in behind me to drop a 2nd trailer. He went inside when I was waiting in my sleeper and they told him the same thing.
I got paid to bring the empty back but still.
Other than that it was a decent run. The eastern shore is nice trucking. I was sort of looking forward to picking up from there. So was the other guy. We kinda get stuck doing the same stuff as locals and sometimes you want something fresh.

That's not a good way to start for their company.
If that is the way they operate not knowing what is going on I imagine it will be a nightmare of pre-loaded trailers not being pre-loaded.
I could be wrong. Maybe the will unfuck themselves and get thier poop in a group.

Yeah it was weird they let us inside and the place was almost completely empty. So I don't even know what would have been loaded. There was only one guy in there that I saw and the other driver said he saw 2.
Maybe it's a deep state thing and now I'm going to be offed for talking about what I saw.
