Driver in search of a Truck (california)

I am a california driver looking for an owner op that will let me take my 3 year old with me.

Still reading? Ok, good.

My husband and I used to team drive together, but that got to be too much after the baby got older. At present, Crete Carrier is begging me to come back and offering me an special schedule to accommodate my family. While that's appealing, my husband has recently acquired a road cat. I don't really want deal with him, baby, me and cat in the same 4ft space. So I'm putting my feelers out there to see if there is an owner op who needs a driver and is willing to let me take my kiddo along. My son is well suited for road life as he already comes with me everywhere while I do gig work for Instacart and Shipt. At present, I have the huge good fortune to be able to live comfortably in CA with my husband the only real breadwinner--in other words, I'm a housewife. But I'm a housewife with a current and valid med card and a squeaky clean driving record and no CSA points, EVER. I drive by the book; double pump my clutch; log hours by hand, no problem. I'm capable of trip planning WITHOUT a friggen GPS (that's right kickin' it old school). I can also chain up my tractor. Why, You ask? Because I enjoy the challenge. I've only had to chain up twice, but I did it and got off the mountain both times without needing a wench-out like some of those other suckers.

That's about it about me. If you don't like California for whatever reason, keep it to yourself. I like living here and I ain't leaving.

Can any of the hay hauling outfits be a good fit?

I'm thinking when that kind gets school age your situation is likely to change again.

Also, I don't mind California but I'm not sure I'd live there. Id probably live there of I was rich enough that real life didn't affect me. But I'll keep that to myself.

Speaking of California I wonder if @Mike still has a head the size of Mt Shasta. He went on like a three day wine tasting (guzzling) tour or something.

In fact, you might even have to drive his truck back to Arkansas for him while he lays in the sleeper moaning and rehydrating.

Dude was to' up from the flo' up.

I saw the pictures.

Anyway good luck in your search. Let's us know how it works out.

He's got Maria with him. That truck would be kind of crowded with 3 adults and a child in it. 🤔

Are there more than five people who regularly uses this site? I'm looking back a out 5-10yrs and I'm seeking a lot of the same people posting....
