Deprivation of Rights Under the Color of Law

The only winning or losing we need to be concerned about is whether we end up playing 2nd fiddle to the Chinese economy when this is all said and done. Folks need to be thinking about this as they complain about having to go back to work.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if they purposely went people here with the virus. They want to dominate us that badly.
I’m not concerned with winning I’m just saying you can’t judge the success of any of our approach’s until after it’s over. On the Chinese subject I agree

What about every other country that has to deal with this crap.

People seem to forget the WHO demanded the response as well. Not just in the USA, but globally.
The WHO has been acting like a branch of the Chinese government.

China wants to dominate the world, not just us.

I'll trust Andrew Cuomo and Dr Fauci. You trust the orange boy and his lies.
If you get the virus, make sure you refuse hydroxychloroquine because it's so deadly it kills anybody who gets within ten feet of it. Thousands of doctors from all over the world were lying to help the orange man kill democrats.

im not particularly happy with our President over this either. It’s one time where he caved under the pressure and advised all these shutdowns.

I am happy that he pushed for reopening as well, but I wish he would have been able to stand up to the pressure of shutting down the country. Not sure anyone would have been able to though.

On the plus side, he listened to the people, and got right behind them when they started demanding to go back to work. After all, he and everyone else works for us. Let’s not forget that.

I’m sorry but I’m with Mike, most people I know felt they had no business closing the economy. I’d like to see the questions on these polls.
Without closing the transmission rate of covid-19 would have gone exponential - as we have seen at the packing plants.

Not in your little burg you say? As we have seen in recent days borders mean nothing. Travel from "closed areas" to "open areas" as soon as the status changes, leading to more likely transmission of the virus.

But, but we didn't vote! How heinous of them! Nope. State and local leaders have the right under our law to make such decisions unilaterally during a state of emergency. SCOTUS affirmed this in multiple cases.

You say that but there’s no evidence to support that outside of congruent environments. No one has denied the idea of social distancing but the shutdown has now became apparent that it was to far. Here’s the problem with your little theory. The virus has went no where ace it isn’t going anywhere so the solution is go to work smartly or stay locked down indefinitely which we can’t do.

People travel to my rural area to including myself, my brother, my father in law and a hundred more and we’re clean here.

I’ve asked you a hundred times what do you propose?

then when you get a chance I’d like to look at these Supreme Court decisions. I can also tell you the legislature has the right to overrule the state and local leaders.

All it takes is one infected person to take a meal in your local cafe to start an outbreak.

doesn't the liability issue flip at some point??? it's no longer about protecting the few from the virus,, but the many from certain poverty :confused-96:

Why isn’t it happening? Ok I’ll ask for the 40th time, what should we do? The virus is here and there’s no cure Viking anytime soon and we can’t lock down long term.

The left doesn't want a solution to the virus. Otherwise they wouldn't have attacked hydroxychloroquine and produced fake research to try to discredit it after thousands of doctors all over the world reported having huge successes with it.

What they want a "solution" to is freedom and capitalism, which their demented little minds have been conditioned to see as evil.

I’m afraid you’re right.

It already is. Go to the CDC website, and look for where they're showing more recent infection areas. Its spreading to rural areas now. You're not going to escape this.

And... of course "the left" wants a solution to "this." If you're believing that there are any Americans who don't want a solution to this pandemic you're an idiot. Sacrificing elder Americans, and running out into the middle of it into work environments guaranteeing getting infected ain't it though.
