You can get a hard braking incident at 1 mph. it s not the speed that tells the quallcomm, its the amount of brake pressure is applied.

Trucks were set not to flag if under 5 or 7 mph if I recall. Been a while since I went digging through the qualcomm and looked at the settings.

I agree partially. A job IS what you make it, but what where my own little maverick ideas come in is that the big friggin companies add so much crap on top of simply doing the job that they make it 10 times more stressful than it needs to be.

Ive never driven for CR, but I do currently work for a huge company, and I end up shaking my head a lot.

Oh cmon now I cannot believe there are any disgrunted cre drivers.LOL I've heard from many how bad crengland is.You would think with that metal detector and bullet proof glass so I heard that they would get to the bottom as to why so many angry drivers.

I agree with you Patty.
An awful lot of the negative reports you read about companies can be attributed to whining and complaining, not to mention failure to report the whole story.
That being said, when you see the overwhelming majority of posts about CRE,JB and Werner(they seem to be the most notorious) being negative you would think these co's would look into fixing SOMETHING. Maybe their policies, maybe their hiring standards.
Seems to me happy drivers make more money,for themselves and the company.

Some if not most of these drivers are a product of their environment, now that being said ALL DRIVERS SHOULD AVOID theses companies like the PLAGUE. Problem will then solve itself when they go under.

Yup! everything ya heard about em is true! I know! I drove for them for 2 years. And yes, the job is what you make of it. I did a lot of head shakin too Sinister! But I went about my biz, did what I was supposed to do, and lasted!
But at the same time I knew that with the least provocation that they would do a boy scouts mother dirty. They are not nice people to work for. But, because they were so big, it was easy to get invisible. What with all the new hires, and the problems with that, if you just stayed quiet, and did your job...they didnt know who you were....lol
With CRE, having their attention is deadly!

Yep I know EXACTLY what you're saying keendriver but unfortunately nothing will ever get done.Their way of thinken is,you don't like it then quit.Believe me I know.I get a kick out of companies that say they have an open door policy.I've often asked Werner,howcome you don't look into why you have so many drivers quit each week.Got no answer.

ok my husband was a lease operator and he worked for cr england and his dm was a freggin dick seriously he wouldnt autherize anything wouldnt do anything i rode with him the whole time and he QUIT because his dm didnt give him any miles refused everything litterly his night dm was mad about all that because anytime my husband had to write a com check to walmart or something his day time dm wouldnt even help out and cr england is horrible when we had got the damn truck they didnt even inspect it luckly we had a 30 day warrentee on it the breaks went out and the truck started smoking really bad from the breaks and the air tank had a leak so the truck didnt run properally and before he got the truck the lady at the horizen was a complete utter bitch didnt treat anyone with respect thought she was hot stuff because its a building full of men and granted she was kinda cute but still the only nice people we met were the students and the santa clause guy (this was at the stlc location) his dm seriously though didnt autherize ANY TOLLS he sent us to ny (brooklyn and the bronx) NOW you tell me how the hell are you supost to get in to ny with out any tolls we had politely asked his dm if he would autherize the tolls the dummy is all like get around it what a dick if you ever end up with a dm with the name RAY NURTON i feel bad for you he is a dick and will not give you any miles will not help out with tolls and i feel bad for you if you need any kind of advances he doesnt deserve to be a dm thats why we hate cr england oh btw my husband quit turned in the truck and said you can have this crap
