Sweetwater, TN - Dinner Bell Restaurant, I 40 x 62 This is not a truck stop, but a great buffet restaurant. There is pleanty of truck parking, and you can stay over night. For some old time southern cooking..

AW I used to live in Sweetwater, before my trucking days... Our whole family used to go there for dinner... Might need to stop again when I get a load that way now that you reminded me, thanks!

I sometimes get this crossdock run for Volkswagen in Chattanooga usually to get backhauls its ages days down and chatanoga ain't got much for sitting so hit 75 south 20 miles hit daulton piliot

Gr8 staff help you out with anything giant parking lot and if a walk doesn't scare ya lots of other anemmities down the road

I WOULd say Petro Florence, SC is probably my favorite right now due to the vast amount of parking---i've never seen it full. Easy, spread out parking---the way it should be.

Food is acceptable.

i was going to say GATEWAY T/A. This used to be the truckstop that all truckstops should be modeled after, but their food seems to be deteriorating---at least the buffets. Also, unfortunately cleanliness is declining a little.

It's 2013 in Pennsylvania. We should be able to handle the fly situation. This ain't southeast Washington D.C.

Really, if you have lots of parking and easy parking, a half-way decent restaurant, clean restrooms/showers (pilot strikes out here) then i like you.

You noticed that to? I like harassing them when they get back in the truck, I ask them if they got enough to eat and if their little tummy is full, that I wouldn't want them to leave the fuel island hungry or anything. I actually got so p/o'd at a swift driver years ago in orange tx, that I kicked his ass right there at a fuel pump.

Not that I haven't done it myself, it is just that I make sure I won't be holding anybody up and it is not BK or Wendys, it is a cup of coffee and shooting the bull.

Can't stand Little America, Wyoming though I do like the one in Flagstaff.

Either way, I gotta be feelin pretty rich to go to ANY Little America.

I hate that the gun collection is gone in Raphine. And they had an AWESOME cabbage soup when it was Mom an Pop...but the grub wasn't bad last time I was there as a Petro either. I talked to some fuel desk folks, and they seem well aware of folks' trepidation that it's been bought out, and at least the fuel desk seems concerned.
