Easier to just admit you’re not ready to go back to work.
We assessed things regarding the risk of traveling out of the country this year, felt like an increase was a good idea. That, and the cost of living is higher where we are now, including the home cost, and if some SWIFT driver takes me out, need to know all is taken care of here, lol.

I just helped a guy couldn't get an almost straight in spot about 3 over from me. He tried it once went all the way around came back started struggling again so I jumped out to take a look.
Had to break it down Barney style how to get it. What I didn't know he had already fucked a trailer rim and tire on the curb before I walked over. Asked him how long he been driving.....4 months.
At least I saved someone's hood so that's my good deed for the week? month? year?

Three major accidents today here too. Fortunately I routed around one and the others were cleared up by the time I made it back around. Got stuck in the cluster of one yesterday and heard about more on the radio nearby.
It's really really really stupid out there lately. Like, more than usual.

Lastnight a truck flipped over on WV Turnpike past Beckley on a curve but it was dark and I couldn't get a good pic otherwise Idve posted it in Stupid Wheelholders thread

Yikes.
Yesterday was a truck fire on 70 where 270, 15, 340, all converge in Frederick MD.
Today was a truck that ran off the road into a ditch. I think both were actually. Not sure what the 3rd was.
Oh and I blew another bias ply. But I limped it to STTC to save time. Ran into the same guy who fixed my flat at the weigh station.
Something else I learned today. If you need road service, XPO puts it on their account right away. If you're sitting in the shop's parking lot talking to the service counter, you have to prepay and get reimbursed.
Talk about stupid. Next time I'm gonna stop in a parking lot next to the tire shop and call for road service. Maybe the Burger King.

On I-64 near the Illinois/Indiana line the otherside was shutdown and westbound squeezed by on shoulder.
Couldn't exactly see because it was in the ditch but let me just say a "Massive" Response so it hadda be good to send all that

I've read about people having stroke-like symptoms from the covid vaccines.
I read about it and then like a week later they took my 96 yr old grandma to the ER with stoke symptoms but other than her pre-existing dementia, she was fine and the symptoms were gone by the time they got to the ER.
People have been reporting seeing cars doing incredibly stupid things that can only be described as the drivers being unconscious for a few moments. Falling asleep at the wheel type of stuff.

I can say from experience that the vaccine does cause fatigue the day after the shot. Some people have fatigue for days after the shot. So yeah falling asleep at the wheel type of stuff is pretty possible. I am not saying they are asleep, just saying their focus on the task at hand maybe slightly impaired.
