I actually hold "Tanker" but no "Hazmat" nor "TWIC" because of my Prison Time...
Closest thingy I ever did "Tanker" was the Meat Plant..
I was thru the "Temp Agency" on a "Home" Job driving "Fork-Lift" on the docks like $15 an hour back then..
They hadda "Trucker" Quit knew I held the "Class A" called Temp Service bought out my "Markers" from them .
Hired $23 Hour Time Clock plus "Insurance" hired straight in
Waste "Retention Ponds" ya dumped that in Union Grove Wi "sewer system" off a Manhole Cover they liked the "Volume" flowing their pipes all at once I guess..
The other was "Cow Blood"
We ran those up by "Minneapolis" the place looked "Creepy" but they bought Tanker loads of "Animal Blood"..
Anyways @389 Hood when the guy was "Training Me" empathized No Baffles and a "Surge" the ride alongs..
Always wanted be "Anticipation" and throwing down Gears and Hit the "Jake Brakes" ya "Glide Into that or a "Surge" gonna be "Knocking Ya Around Afew Too"

You got GAnthony talking about it here for the last 5 years, mndriver did the alioop a few weeks ago, Hood anouncing his D-day in June. Shreck coming out finally admitting to his eventual serenade, RigJockey calling it quits but only for a minute, Uncle Birchy playing the musical chairs ala don grande, whatever, hell even EC still in his 30's but with a bum shoulder is suggesting hanging up his torque bar for good.

Ya welp this used be "Hangout" 4 Truckers like a Decade or so when I first "Signed Up" back in the day..
Then it got 2 be all about "Stay On Topics" & Advertising "Revenue" & "Server Fees" seems by gosh more than "Half" Americas Truckers got "Ban-Hammered" from "Here" or just Gave Up & Walked Away..

Driving a smooth-bore or 'shotgun' trailer is an art unto itself. A smooth-bore partially loaded is not for the faint of heart on snowy or icy roads. Also not for the 'new-breed' and their automatics. Finesse is not required with an autobox. Learning in a cabover with a 13 speed Road Ranger, Armstrong steering, 260 A/C and no steer axle braking will allow you to develop that finesse. I may have had only 3 jobs in this biz, but I did a lot of part-timing in my 3 days a week off on the local milk/waste water scene. One wrong move has you getting whiplash for miles.

If you have adults that act like adults on a chat forum, a mod really isn't needed. A mods biggest job is to keep the spammers at bay. Not sure who they are here beside Mike and maybe his wife. I never see any chinks or ruskies trying to pass off their ed pills here, whereas on other boards they always manage to slip in somewhere and post their junk.

On a forum where all the active members have been here for years, and we're all sorta friends, it's impossible to moderate because we don't want to be the ass hole who bans people.
New members who show up & are immediately troublesome are easier to deal with because you don't know them.
Quite frequently I'd edit or delete people's posts though, to remove violations before the other staff could see it and do worse than just delete it.
And @ironpony had a habit of copying & pasting entire sections of web articles without providing a source link, and that could get Mike in trouble.
Mike's rule on that was to delete the post. But usually I was able to pick out a sentence from it and copy/paste it into Google and find the page IP got it from, then I'd just edit his post to pop the source link into it.
The only times that I miss being a mod is like when that hare Krishna guy shows up, posts his doctrine and then attacks anyone who replies to it.

All that is true! Also when you get into conflict with another member you can't exactly take action because you are not impartial. You need another Mod to step in and make that call.
