Vaping like a skinny jeans wearing, man bun sporting, beard having, murse carrying hipster tool.

Why the hell would anyone smoke when vaping is an alternative?
and vaping is way healthier than smoking.

How this hasn't become more popular I don't know.

Seriously...cigarettes taste like burnt ass.

vaping is not healthier than smoking, they're equally bad for you !
you're still inhaling nicotine into your lungs, throat & body.
to each their own when it comes to their method to get nicotine, I for one like(d) the basic natural tobacco cig like " American Spirit " brand they had a cleaner taste & the smoke lasted longer VS most any other brand, Marlboro was heavy chemical taste and the smoke burned too fast.

Its healthier than smoking simply because there are not 7000 various chemicals in every drag. Aresenic, rat poison...

I'm not saying it's 100% healthy, as drawing anything into your lungs isn't healthy, but vaping is better than smoking from that standpoint alone.

Again though...you cannot buy crap juices from Apu at the 7-11. You have to get the good stuff and use the right equipment.

It also helps to know that a lot of the anti-vaping info out there is likely to be released by the tobacco industry itself, because they are losing tons of money, and likely will not successfully penetrate the vaping market, nor will most former smokers return to actual cigarettes, though I do know one person that did...and why I don't know.

That depends what kind you buy they have juices that one drag will knock you out then there's more milder ones.I got vanilla but if one already smokes I wouldn't recommend e ciggarettes,it just adds to your bad health.Studies and tests have shown that e smokes are no more healthier then regular ciggarettes. If folks wanna quit smoking I would recommend the patch, gum, pills cold Turkey, anything other then e smokes.

Welp...I guess I can only say...that the tobacco industry has had well over 100 years to brainwash you rocket surgeons.

Good lord patty.

E-cigs are a prefectly acceptable way to wean oneself off nicotine be reducing the levels of nicotine in the juices over time down to zero if you want.

Doing both smoking and vaping...yeah...that will hurt for a while.

Some people even cough and hack MORE for the first few weeks because your lungs are clearing themselves out.

I personally no longer have shortness of breath, constant fatigue, and the feeling of overall crappiness I would always get with my first smoke of the day, but I also don't have the murderous rages and mood swings I got from total withdrawal.

I'm at 3 nic right now, and could probably go lower, but I'm content with that.

How long did it take before you started feeling your normal self again?

Oh that, well, it's all cumulative.

Over the past 3 years or so I've for the most part quit fast food, and improved my diet (though not as much recently as before), started vaping and quit smoking, and when I changed my diet, i felt better and more energized within 2 weeks, but smokes still made me feel tired all the time. Back in December or January @Squach213 and I were moving tower sections around, and he got me into this vaping thing, and I pretty much quit smoking within 2 weeks, and vape instead.

So overall, my energy levels are way higher than they used to be for various reasons.

Nobody really knows the long term effects, positive or negative about this vaping thing, and the hipsters have made it all douchey, like they do with everything else, but for me it works for nicotine delivery, and short term well being.

Toward the end, I could have one smoke at some point in the morning and I would IMMEDIATELY feel it in my legs for some reason. My guess is that is because my BP skyrocketed immediately as my arteries and veins constricted fromt eh lack of oxygen. This wasn't a good feeling. Then shortly after, the fatigue would set in, and I'd just feel like crap all day.

I don't have that now.

I will say one downside to vaping, is that under pressure, you tend to do it a lot more than you would smoking. If you're stressed, one cigarrette, and you're good for a half hour or so...depending. With vaping...one hit off the douche flute, and in 5 minutes you're reaching for it again.

Add to that the ultimate BOREDOM of OTR driving...and yeah...I'm on this thing a LOT.

BUT...when I go home, because of the lowered nicotine levels, I can totally put it aside (don't want to have to expain it to the kids, and even the wife just recently found out) and not lose my mind. With smoking...sometimes I couldn't wait to go back to work just to light that first smoke.

Another funny man,so funny I forgot to laugh.I ask because i'm trying to quit smoking.
Just quit. Seriously.

Take that pack on the desk next to you and throw it in the trash, then quit.

Do not try, do not play the "I'm cutting back" self delusional bull shit.

Quit. You either smoke or you do not. So the question is do you have the discipline to control your own mind and body.

I have no idea why someone makes such a big f'ing deal about it.

That's easier said then done. Coming from a non smoker I can see why you would say that.

Lady I smoked three packs a day up until 7 years ago. Then I quit.

Not tried, not cutting back, not finding some other source........

Balled up the pack in my hand and quit.

Obama was giving a speech about raising the tobacco tax for welfare babies to have insurance right before he took office.

I have not had a single cigarette since, because I quit.

I was smoking a pack a day in China... bought a pack in the Shenzhen border plaza, finished that pack in Hong Kong waiting for the plane to NZ and haven't bought a pack since.

It's easy if you have the mentality to just stick with a decision.
