It's time for a rant about the piece of shit that is the International Prostar. These ugly waste of space trucks are 100% the worst truck I've been in to date. They ride like dog shit AND the gear lever looks like they let a 2 year old design it. The MPG is eh at best. This is a piss poor replacement for the greatness that was the 9400I. This is by far the worst running truck in the fleet. Good news is the dpf is dying so I won't have to deal with this piece of crap much longer.

Specced wrong for what ? 485 ISX and a 10 speed pulling 80,000 is nothing out of the ordinary. Doesn't change the fact that it rides like crap and they gave a 2 year old a crayon and let them design the gear lever.
I'm sitting here feeling every last damn bump and when I do have the misfortune of having to move it the gear lever has no feeling in it.Hmmm.... Yer drivin this thing at yer young age?

I agree ! but the Peterbilt 386 just sucks less haha. I wish they would have let us have the 2006 9900I,but the boss was out hauling grain so that is gone.

Been in a few cornbinders myself. Spent the most time in a 9300 with a 15 speed and a 400 big cam. Did some lowboy work with that old horse
Good ol 9300s. I like the 9200,9300,9400 and 9900s. I wish they would bring back the 9400I.

So what you're saying is you like it when it gargles as you grind it.
I preferred the old ProStar they gave me at USX over the new Pete 579s we had in day cab form from a ride standpoint.
No I don't grind gears,I hit in-between the gears. When I hit the gear it goes in. Although that might be a way to take out my anger on the truck ! Hahaha My back is hurting like hell now. I just got out of it,going home.
