She has her permit, but no car or license yet.

She's driving me to my doctor's appointment now though. She has already passed and completed the classroom and behind the wheel Minnesota required.

The state also require teens to log so many day and night hours with a licensed driver as well. She's short on her night time hours for the moment.

same here in my state, and i'd venture to guess, in many others. i think it's worth the extra time for the young ones to get more drive time before they get to take the final test.
