$450 wasn't for the whole kit. Sounds like just the head and a refurbished one. Where was that done?

This is exactly what kind of post pisses me off. You lead people to believe you had a complete Espar installed for $450!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All you did was exchange for a used rebuilt one. Details MAN!!!!! It's 101 questions to get the real truth sometimes!!!

You can get the Tripac here installed for $9,396 and that includes the artic package. Like I said, my buddy just had a brand new 2014 model installed for $8,100

Not trying to put people down. Just trying to state the CORRECT FACTS when people tell false truths by leaving out important details. I have first hand experience with the Espar and APU's in general and when people just throw out figures that are not true like $20k for an APU it gets to me.
I can buy a trailer tire for $500 anyplace but I get the same one for $190. Same thing with APU's and the Espar. I see a lot of posters jack up prices on everything so they can justify not fixing their Espar or not having an APU.
My APU/Espar combination has payed for itself many times over. After a while you just become numb and I don't feel like helping anymore. Everyone can design and build a better mouse trap until they do and realize they can't.

Same reason I insisted on having a tripac on the truck when I bought it. Could I make one, sure. But why reinvent the wheel. Its easier to simply make improvements.
