Pretty much. I figured I could afford the incidentals as well but who knows whether I'd be able to budget a skidoo or vacation or condoms or whatever. Stuff that makes life worth living.

There's a smaller one that I kept going back to over the past few months. I'm going to look at it this afternoon. My cousin's a realtor and has it on her books.

I'm sorta leaning towards modest home and then eventually ditching the four cars in favor of a work beater and something sleek and sexy in the garage for weekends. And maybe a fast car too.
nothing says sexy car like 4 tires, 4 doors, a bra on the hood, and floor mats.
seems to me, if YOU do the math..
you want a work beater
you want a sexy car
you want a fast car.
so in theory, you get rid of 4, to get back 3.......
i don't get it he want's a beater understandable there.
but he wants a sexy car and a fast car. i would start looking into exotics if he wants a sexy and fast car. nothing more fun than driving a fast car that makes your passengers go holy shit and cry like little school girls and ask if you have a barf bag

Submitted a formal offer on a house today. Looked it over. It felt like home. 2BR, 1.5BA. Has a 3 car garage (or two + working space), some shade trees, and just enough grass to be comfortable. Driveway is small but paved.
$135k if the buyer takes my offer. Super affordable. In the nice, "rich" part of town but small compared to most. Stone build. Two story with a walkout basement. Natural gas heat/water heater. Newly remodeled kitchen with fairly new appliances. Small but adequate.
Three garage spaces plus driveway means I can keep all four vehicles close.
Garage also has a light switch in the house. Kind of odd but I can see the convenience.

Lmao it's a detached garage about 50 feet from the house. It's kind of a ways, IMHO to run a switch. Haha
