It is too much air polution..:order: SOO with all the fires burning..can we sue them?? It will polute too much!!:biglaugh:Don't get me wong I feel bad for the people but it sure is an irony

Anyone that builds in the hills where there is a known fire danger deserves what they get. How stupid can people be? It's like building on a flood plain. It's common sense. Stupidity should be painful.

Maybe they are a bunch of hypocrites?;)

Hypocrisy (or the state of being a hypocrite) is the act of preaching a certain belief or way of life, but not, in fact, holding these same virtues oneself. For example, a teacher telling students they should not plagiarize, while secretly being a plagiarist himself. Hypocrisy is frequently invoked as an accusation in many contexts.

I can't believe this one if a trucker can't sleep during there down time then how is the driver going to be safe on the road. I think this is more dangerous.........

It is but know one speaks up from that State.
About anything,
Driver's People of calif. you are so chicken S**T.
Guess people r scared, terminator or something might show up.

Driver's People of calif. you are so chicken S**T.

The drivers that suffer from this aren't the California based drivers, it is the drivers from other States bring product in. It is those people who are stuck with the layovers in the State for the most part.

I won't call any driver a chicken shit for following these rules, as I understand the difficulties that come with standing up against ignorant rules like this, but if anybody is going to call drivers "chicken shit", that term "chicken shit" needs to be directed toward anybody that drives into that State, as they are the ones who are submitting to these rules.

mine is turning down everyload, unless they pay in advance for a motel room, now we might not be indep. anymore but we still own the truck. and they don't want to pay and he wont go.
I realize a company driver does not have this option, but as bad as the smoke heat ect....if you must go into the state call 911, and or company have them take you to the nearest hospital. If you feel sick from what you are being subjected to.
Your health is at risk, Don't be a hero.
It is Job related,And make sure everything is doc. and report it.

calling O.S.H.A.
remember for every law that stands, there is one to counter.
The know idling law, athough pertains the the state in whole, does not take into concideration the unsafe working conditions or health and safety violations of the drivers.
1-800-321-6742, If they persist I feel under these law's the state should be held liable and provide safe parking with sleeping arrangements.
And or do to the fact that the General trucker cannot afford to upgrade as the compaines that the Gov. does Sub. Voucher's to bring the trucks up to Calif. standards should be issued.

This is an excellent idea. I'll start working on something this evening. Need to update my main site and research/publish articles on the community first...then put some time into the flyer. I think I can create something you'll be satisfied with.

Luna...I really like this attack. I think it definitely has some potential.
