Need some advice...

So a year ago, I started with Carolina Logistics when I bought my truck. Bad idea. They were ripping me off of everything that i worked for. 4 months later found another company, smaller outfit, and left Carolina Logistics. However I paid for the plates so I continued to run on them. Did a lot of up north and went through some tolls and etc.etc. Registration is now up and I'm trying to get my truck registered in my home state. however "carfax" states that Carolina Logistics had a title issued to them. My finance company has the title, I'm the owner, but the registration is in their company name. Is that legal?

All in how the application was filled out last year really. So you may want to find all of that paperwork and have it ready.

And if it’s truly in their name, you will be best to play real nice with them to get it released. Whomever is responsible for that in their safety department will have to be of great assistance.

I didn't know it was the safety department. I was gonna go up there and give them back their plate and e log computer. They are delaying me in getting my truck registered

would they not release my registration due to tolls ?
