Name My Trucking Company!

Being in a consortium like ooida or something like that, you are pooled with a bunch of o/o.

My particular pool has over 160 owner operator's. Post accidents have gotten me more times in 5 years.

Truck washes will fade the paint even more so. Especially if you acid wash it.

My last job heck same company but when I was driving truck before moving into the plant...

They did some goofy wash crap on windshield...

Instead of paying attention they left it out in the sun all day when it was 90 degrees...

Any direct sunshine was like middle of the night and High Beams at ya ...

couldnt barely see ...

They ended up replacing the entire glass because I refused to continue driving it

CMCI (OOIDA's drug consortium) is correct. There are exemptions for pre-employment drug test but you must provide documentation.

Obviously, there is no exemption for being in a drug testing program that complies with the regulations.

For it to be considered "valid", the proof they are looking for that you've belonged to one in the past 30 days is a passed result.

I had to show paperwork not only for a drug program, but also a completed test. From either the current or previous group.

Also remember. Some of these requirements now are not from a "driver's" point of view.

You are now looking at it from the view of a motor carrier. And often, things take on an entirely different perspective.

Yeah,
I didn't have documentation when I had my new entrant audit...
But the auditor was pretty laid-back and let it slide.

He even did vehicle inspection and gave me a cvsa sticker after I repaired a taillight...
But that was 15 years ago.
I wouldn't count on catching many breaks in the current climate.

It must depend on the officer that you get for your audit. The officer in charge of my audit would not even look at my paperwork from my past employer for my drug testing he said because I started a new company I had to have a pre-employment drug test. He did not fine me but warned me that when he came back the next time, if he did that I had better have a pre-employment drug test.

The minute it went public, I immediately began receiving phone calls and emails from solicitors.

That won't stop anytime soon.

...the FMCSA requires you to have blivit training per regulation. You may be subject to civil and criminal penalties, yada, yada, yada.

It never ends...
