Finally found a deal on the lunch box oven that I cared to buy.
First meal in it

Sausage is ready.

Not so much the biscuit.

Brats work pretty good in those. Also, often you can find containers to cook in way cheaper in a grocery store than a damn truck stop.

Actually use heavy duty aluminum foil and not containers

Biscuits need to be checked with a toothpick to see if they're done.

Not like an oven that will have them golden brown


Biscuits are a bag of 20 for $3.52 at Walmart

Sausage Patty I got at local Cash Wise and that was $3 for a package of 18.


$0.35 for breakfast compared to buying a biscuit at the store for $4

This is what I do. A roll of foil lasts a long time, and is by far cheaper than the foil containers.

I cook my meat before leaving the house. Once in the truck, I cook veggies in the oven, and put the meat in with it to reheat.

Oven is great for steaming the veggies, ends up with a nice meal every evening.

30-45 minutes. Just depends on how well you want them done. Broccoli will cook faster than green beans.

Sweet potato less than two hours, been a while so I can’t remember exact time. No idea on a regular tater.

Decided to have roast pork and potatoes tonight.


Put them on around 3:30.


Took them off at about 5:10. The last 20 minutes were difficult. They smelled incredible.

And are so hitting the spot. Smashed the taters and added a glob of butter

Cooking some tonight and reheating a hamburger patty as well. Supper should be ready in about 20 minutes for me.
