Hello, I am looking for a owner-operator program like LANDSTAR in the US and specifically for a company that is located in New England, Vermont,, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Hampshire or New York. Looking to haul construction "products"

Thanks for the tips and help!

Mercer is something similar. I'm not sure how many agents they have in the northeast.

There used to be a PA based company called American Freight where you chose your own loads but I can't find anything on them.

One option…

What was the one based on Greencastle, PA that used broker lumber & b.s. loads to & from everywhere?

So you're saying it's the same guys running the same equipment from back when I hauled their stuff in the mid-80's?
Yes.

We subbed one guy on one of our Texas wind farms. He bragged that the inside of his truck was pike a parts store. And he smelled like one. It was awesome working next to this guy when it was 114 degrees out.

At least his tiny little dog had a safety vest...

As much as I like to laugh at all that stupid, unfortunately I have to remind myself that the guy really tried to convince people it's all true (the fact that he said it, not the actual stories).

The T2000 door for instance. I can tell you that there's no possible way a normal man can punch a hole in it. The Terminator can, but an overweight, obese, unhealthy Greentree Driver cannot. He swears up and down he did....but we all know that he did not.
You gotta give him credit. Even when everyone was laughing at him, he still insisted it was true.
