Life in Sector 7 G.

I hate the weather "persons". Only a small chance of rain not lasting long. That was yesterday. Today, not going to rain until late at night.
I have been working in steady rain for two MF'n days!
You persons suck at your job!

The only weather persons that seem to be good at their job is California weather persons.
Yup, going to be hot and sunny for the next ten years!
At least you have rain. I haven't seen a blade of grass since November.1dcb682b-5211-44ad-918e-e58d0052b2df.webpIMG_20260304_133745153_HDR.webp

Do you have a name for that glacier?
That's basically what it is . You don't wanna get too far off the driveway without a skidoo or some snow shoes. That is the shop from one of the windows in the house. To the right is the skidoo trailer bay door big open area driveway etc. To the left my enclosed trailer is buried in there somewhere 😂

How deep is that anyway?

If I was a kid I'd have loved to tunnel into it.

Some of it is from plowing and some us what came off the metal roof. It's probably 4-5: feet deep or so there but there isn't near that on the ground most places. I should go take one of that pile from a different angle you'd see what I mean.

The funny thing is when you go into town between all the houses with tiny little driveways using snowblowers and the town using them on the sidewalks most of the yards are so full you can barely see the houses at all. Play t bone roulette and take your life in your hands every time you go out for a spot of milk.

We used to build forts or caves in the snow mountains the plow would leave.

Or another fun thing to do was play King of the hill. it was an uphill battle to topple the guy on the top of the hill to become...King of the hill.
Yes, a violent game played by latch key kids.
My kids and their friendswere doing that when we got the massive dumps in December and January. Since then it got flipped over once by a loader then rained and sleeted on a bunch of times. Between that and what if it has melted it's like Duck said basically a glacier at this point.

You wouldn't know it was cleared almost back to that second trailer right after we got the shit tons of snow around Christmas and New Year's. I just haven't bothered shelling out to get the glacier flipped again kind of hoping we're almost out of this white bullshit.

I don't mind some snow but a lot of people that been around have said they haven't seen it like this in 20 years. St John's isn't exactly close by any means but they were saying their February was the biggest monthly total since they started recording some time before Confederation (I forget the exact year) Almost 180cm in the month, 145 or so came in the one storm. Do your own googling what that is in real measures but I think it's about 4.5 and 6 feet give or take.

Rain, snow, sleet, all day long.

Stopped by Moms after work to pick up shepherd's pie or cottage pie, whatever.
Good to have some comfort food after a long day, or any day.

Please don't say cottage pie.

It's giving me this mental image of a pot pie filled with cottage cheese. :stare2:

I am hoping to watch Joe Rogan's podcast interview with Pierre Poilievre.
I have heard a lot about it, I have tried to ignore the snippets of it on social media, I want to see the whole thing all at once.

If you don't know who Pierre Poilievre is, he is the quick-witted leader of the opposition party in the Canada.

If you don't know how to pronounce Poilievre...neither do I.
we just pronounce it as Poly-Ev.

Also, I like Joe Rogan. I think he gets most things right.

Here is a link...

I linked It, I still have not watched it, yet.

It was a really good one and not near as much politics as I expected so even better Then you see Carney on a scripted bullshit show with Jon Stewart and you see the difference between the two.. Carney is like school on Sunday NO CLASS.

I woke up Sunday to no water. No explanation or anything. Ok I can get by.
Monday they are pounding on my door saying water is on for a half hour. Ok, I needed the sleep more than that B.S.
I went out the door a bit later on Monday and there was a notice saying city watermain break, water would be off for Monday and Tuesday and bottled water would be provided at the office. Went by the office and they said bottled water would be arriving soon.
But wait, your notice said bottled water was available at the office! Not bottled water would be arriving.

I went to the doctors, and I have a cyst that needs to be removed.
After that I went to my mechanic for an oil change, and I need brakes and new tires.
Things are going great. The future's so bright I got to wear shades!

I'm Gen-x. Sarcasm is the way we communicate.

Went out for my cousin and my birthday. (against my wishes). But whatever it's never about me.
I am not sure why these people insist on going to these chain restaurants. It's all slop ordered from Sysco or GFS.
Yes, it is a BBQ joint but ever notice how every steak is exactly the same size and shape, zero fat? Not a real steak.

On the plus side, I have leftover birthday cake and that's real.

I was thinking the exact same thing on the way home tonight when passing all the cracker barrels and bob evans and whatevers. They have their branding but they all source their stuff from Sygma or Sysco or Martin Brewer or GFS. And those are just distributors getting it from the same manufacturers.

Yup exactly right!

I understand the bullshit you’re dealing with. Here in Calgary we’re having water troubles due to the main feeder line rupturing yet again this year.
