the samesung note 8 has insane DL speeds

Yeah it does. My whole wifi contraption concept is to reflect off of wifi in areas around truckstops that might have free wifi, since truckstop wifi is absolute poop. With the DeX setup I'm putting together, I will be able to reduce the amount of tethering usage and leave tethering specifically for when I'm using the PC. Plus, I can use it less on my phone than my tablet because of the Weboost, as the Tab S2's cellular reception is crap compared to the Note8, or my S7 Edge I traded over to the wife.

Which is just great - unless you're stuck on the side of the road with a broken-down truck in one of the huge areas that don't have any t mobile service.

I'm guessing you don't understand what a VPN is? Unless I'm gaming, I tunnel back home secure then go from there out to the net.

An unlocked phone and your good to go with a Verizon SIM card. I have a t mo sim in my phone now and I have a Verizon sim tucked away for travel that I do have the cheapest plan on and when I travel I bump the plan up

one good thing about the iphone is if one gets the carrier tied version once it's unlocked it's a permanant unlock unlock unlike android devices

I prefer android products . My reason is Apple charges for everything, and you must subscribe to everything to be able to use the phone. Android products are completely open, and all the apps and stuff is free. No subscribing and extra costs. Plus, my plug fits my wifes phone. Apple crap all have different plugs, so you have to buy more crap to keep them going. I've always been an android person, but when Apple got caught programing there older phones to be slow, so we would buy new ones!!!, it pretty much sealed the deal for me. I'll never buy off those scammers.

i disagree with you when you said that t-mo is great in metro areas. it's not it's complete shit i was lucky to get 1 meg download speeds most of the time during the last 8 months i was with em calls took 2-3 minutes to go through the phone not even ringing when people call and then they ask why you didn't answer the phone and you tell em it never rang:stare1:. t-mo is pure shit even to this day there over selling there network and it's way over congested!!! there customer service is nothing more than a bunch of drunken squirrels weather there in america or the sweat shop in the philippines!!!
