I want to buy a GPS,but I don't know which is better.can you tell me a good one?
I don't have GPS but I do know a driver that got his GPS at the Petro for $300.00.He says that's the best investment he's ever made.I myself will stick with maps and the phone.I want to buy a GPS,but I don't know which is better.can you tell me a good one?

What happened to just reading a map?
Now that's old school.

I use both and it helps greatly. When I have trouble finding a shipper/reciever and can't use the CB, the GPS at least tells me I'm nearby my address. And oddly, it happens. I've had "store deliveries" my last 2 trips and they're not well marked. My GPS got me within a couple turns without any need to call for other truckers to help. In these cases, most drivers surely never had to make any drops there, so they wouldn't have been able to help much.Yes, and it is the only way I will do it. I don't need no fancy gadget to tell me to turn in 50 feet.![]()

I actually found this feature very helpful in some areas where those dang street signs had been knocked down and the directions weren't very good to begin with, LOL.Yes, and it is the only way I will do it. I don't need no fancy gadget to tell me to turn in 50 feet.![]()
