How would you restore it? (Fairlane 500)

My uncle had one of these with a 455 Toronado drivetrain in back. It was hot and very loud, and only a two-seater after the transplant. It was also scary fast.

An old VW Beetle's front end would come off the ground at around 100 mph.

Or so they say. Mine topped out at 80.

But I can imagine they'd get pretty scary with a V8 or even a Porsche engine.

(yeah yeah,... I know,... I was talking about the engines made for the cars named after him.)
