I think I got the warehouse Supe on the run. Usually he will ask me something and I come with some off the cuff reply or something obscure.
Most times I have him walking away laughing and shaking his head.

I may have reached the pinnacle yesterday when he said, You get crazier day by day.

I picked up my new glasses today and I have to say I am pretty weirded out.
They tell me there is an adjustment period to get used to them.
I suppose that could be true. I have gone from not seeing very much to seeing way more than I ever wanted to.
Looking down at my feet it looks like I am walking up hill.
I worked a whole day today and then switched from my old glasses to new ones and my eyes are pretty tired.
I have taken them off for the night and will rest my eyes and try the glasses in the morning.
Anyone ever experience this kind of "adjustment"?

and to answer your question, i have had to wear glasses for many years now, no such thing as an adjustment, unless the tech, adjusts the nose rest.

Sandy did when she got her tri focals? I think that’s what they are. She took them off a lot until she got used to them.

I got new glasses Monday. I couldn't see worth a ****, so I b!tched about it Tuesday and they told me I needed to give it a 1 week adjustment period. I'd never heard of anything like that. So I went in today and made them recheck my eyes. Turns out they didn't screw up, and I'm waiting for the adjustment.

Wow, man! i was pretty weirded out in the morning with these new glasses. I was like walking up hill for the early part of the morning, I was like these have to be wrong and I was going to take them off. As the day progressed it got better. Now it is not so bad.
My eyes are tired though. These are my first new pair of glasses in about 7-10 years.
I have asked 5 different people and I got 11 different answers, Most say, you will adjust.

In search of my replacement at the plant they offered the afternoon guy my day shift. That should seem like an improvement to afternoons.
Afternoon guy turned it down saying when he covered my shift during my vacation it was way too busy for him. So thanks but, no thanks.
And my stock rises.

I am not sure if she recognized me but, I knew who she was.
I just took my beer and left not saying a word.
