Mickey-D's... It was the 1st, and, for a long time, the only fast burger joint. Somehow, they've managed to retain that same flavor I recall from my childhood. I loved it then, I love it now. In fact, I could go for a couple of double cheesy greaseburgers, order of salty fries, and, a chocolate shake, right now. On a hot day, I'd add a large "Orange Soda" to wash it all down with.

Sorry i gotta go with White Castle. Just wish they had them out here. Cant wait to get back on the road and hopfully hit some of the ones i used to with the truck

Never heard of White Castle.What kind of food do they serve?I don't know why but that reminded me of another place I like to eat and they have them on every corner like Walmarts.That is the Waffle house.They have excellent double cheese burgers and hashbrowns that u can add any topping imagineable.

OK, I think out side of the box. Been to all the regular chain food places, so I look for the local fast food joints. That is if I am at home and not driving on the road with hubby.

My vote is for BurgerVille, a hamburger chain that is found in Oregon, as they have cool choices like sweet potato fries, and now pumpkin shakes. Also Taco Time but I will say with the Taco Time only the one's in Washington. As the Oregon chain stores are worse then Taco Bell.

We have a local chain near us also called CHIPS. Looks liek something straight out of Happy Days, and you can smell the cow flesh buring all over town during lunchtime! AWESOME!

I pigged the hell out on Wendy's today. Big greasy double cheeseburger, and 5 nuggets AND fries.

And I'm parked waaaayyyyy in the back of the Slidell TA.

Probably a pretty unhealthy distance from the bathroom.

If anyone else is reading this, please do not run me over when I'm walking across the parking lot briskly in the morning, as I'll only have ONE thing on my mind, and won't be looking for trucks at all.

Here's what my menu consist of at a burger joint while on the road,a double cheese burger 2 hamburgers,2 plain burgers for my dog a large fry and onion rings if they have it and I top it off with a large diet coke.LOL Then end up throwing most away.Now if I go to Wendys i'll get the baconator and keep what I don't eat because that tase good even cold.

For all you white castle lovers out there you can buy them in the grocery stores. They are microwavable.
I am not a big fan of these burgers but I know one guy who would buy a ton of these and save some for later.
