True enough, but I think it goes a little deeper than that.

Most sane people in our culture are basically kind hearted. It's hard to see someone suffering and not want to help somehow. All our kits are refugees in one form or another. We spend good money to give them a safe and comfortable home and worry over them if they're ill or hurting. Most of them would have died a cruel death otherwise.

Helping people is way more of a crapshoot because each of us makes conscious choices every day on how we live. We have options that allows us to "rescue" ourselves or to sink deeper. Except for children, they don't have the choices or the life experience to make them. Or the elderly who don't have the health or connections to work their way out of the problem.

But when I cuss Liberals, I'm not necessarily talking about the "common" folks. There are good people who honestly want to help others. What I'm talking about is the SOB's who have *******ised this caring into a power game to benefit only themselves. These are the truly evil people in the world.

Oh, I think they "know" alright.... they "know" that charities are just the white man's way of controlling the poor folks "rights to have fun". They "know" that "their way" is "freedom" for the poor and suffering. They "know" that only they are smart enough to understand. How do they "know" this? Because they've been taught their whole life that they're special and gifted and that it is their "duty" to without question support their "priests" (teachers) in reshaping the world.

I've heard many times, drivers mentioning how young some of the "lot lizards" look these days. Sometimes I'll hear somebody say "that girl looks like she's 12 years old".

That's probably because she IS only 12 yrs old. And girls that young simply do not willingly decide to become "lot lizards. At that age, they are still children, and children belong at home with their parents, not working a truck stop parking lot in the middle of the night.

Human sex-slave trafficking is not just something that happens in 3rd world countries any more. It's happening HERE in the United States and we drivers need to be vigilant and always be on the lookout for possible victims of this disgusting black market industry. If we see any young girls (or boys) walking around truck stops at night or if they knock on our trucks offering "company", they must be reported immediately. Truckers Against Human Trafficking is an organization set up to fight on the behalf of these innocent children and it's my personal opinion that they are more effective at mobilizing the appropriate law enforcement agencies than the local 911 switchboard operators.

The number to call to report sightings of likely sex-slave victims is 1-888-373-7888. Right now, before you leave this thread or read any further, save that number on your cell phone. Call it any time you suspect you have seen or spoken with a victim of sex-trafficking. You can remain anonymous if you'd like.

Do not try to "rescue" the girls yourself. The kidnappers often brainwash them or get them hooked on drugs to make them come back, and will be afraid of "going to jail". They will likely run back to their captors, alert them and be taken away from the area before police can arrive. Also, if you invite or allow them into the cab of your truck, you can be charged with soliciting a prostitute even if your intentions are to help them.

Go one step further and visit the website. There is protocol involved before an officer can get involved, and these days, cameras are always pointed at law enforcement.

Thank you Mike for this information...Yes I looked it over closely and do understand what you are saying to me.
In my case speaking for myself..First off I am a small woman. So to report something it best to let a officer step in and handle the situation should I run across such a thing with as much information as possible. Law enforce can always use as much information as possible.... Without information their hands are tied to open any type of investigation. Then there is the behind scenes of helping a victim that should be handled by the professionals. Keep this in mind please... The mind of a young child can be fragile as well as heart breaking when there stories come out of them. Thank you once again I shall keep my eyes and ears open when I travel.

I been watching video of trucking world and I must say I have gotten quite a education threw this. I also checked the amount of women killed and left on roadsides or thrown over bridges nation wide who had been murdered. That net quite a bit of information.Which lead me to Serial killers of theses type of women in the type of professions they choose to work in. Even watch security at one of the truck stops which might add did not seem to concern over the activities taking place. Now I come in this post to Thank You for opening my eyes about truck stops.

Up until I entered into watching the video...I had always thought truck stop as a safe haven to park the RV for the night but after watching the activities think down the road would be safer. This is why I am thanking you for this. I can well see why truck stops can have some real problems. So when you out there Duck stay safe.

You can almost know if dumping is going on their already gone. Hope you never have to see such activities. It best to take photo on cell phone of the prey will show a good description. Get the license plate number, company name,Photo the vehicle and always stay calm and alert when dealing with theses type of people. Then make that call.

Good post. Nice to know people are watching out. I looked for it when I was out there. Never saw underage girls. One time I pulled into the Petro in Knoxville and it was crawling with lizards. This was when fuel was 5 bucks a gallon. I did not really want to stay there but I was dirty and tired. I was on my way home so when I got home the next day I sent an email and told them I wouldn't be using that facility any longer. About ten minutes later the manager called and apologized and said he was aware of it and was making arrangements to rid the place of them. He told me the T/A across the street upped their security and they headed to the Petro.

I figure where there's that crap going on there's other nonsense around. I got high dollar fuel in my tanks, a load on my trailer and my personal things in the truck. At the end of a long day I don't need the extra stress of dealing with that sh!t.

Sex trafficking is a big problem. All the media attention that focuses on slavery that happened 150 years and it's going on today right under our noses and gets little media attention. Makes not much sense.
