I'm in as long as we can't get a DUI for it.What? Let's go plow snow with a freight train and get drunk?
I think it would be more likely to happen in the reverse order. Get drunk first, THEN steal a train.![]()
I'm in as long as we can't get a DUI for it.
I never leave my yard drunk on my lawnmower. But can you get a DUI driving a train? It's not on a road. You can get a DUI on a lawn mower. You could ask George Jones but he got dead.
CUII never leave my yard drunk on my lawnmower. But can you get a DUI driving a train? It's not on a road.
In Illinois you can get a DUI driving a ten foot dinghy if it has a trolling motor.I never leave my yard drunk on my lawnmower. But can you get a DUI driving a train? It's not on a road.
I'm very careful not to conduct. Electricity can be dangerous.CUI
Conducting While....
Don't I know it.I'm very careful not to conduct. Electricity can be dangerous.
In Nebraska anything with wheels. Yes folks getting drunk at the roller rink and then trying to skate home can net you a dui.In Illinois you can get a DUI driving a ten foot dinghy if it has a trolling motor.
That's insane. In Nebraska anything with wheels. Yes folks getting drunk at the roller rink and then trying to skate home can net you a dui.
I'd fight that one. Skating ain't driving. Get me on public intoxication if you want but a DUI or DWI? Nope. I ain't doing the D part of it.In Nebraska anything with wheels. Yes folks getting drunk at the roller rink and then trying to skate home can net you a dui.
Good luck it was passed into law by the state unicameral about 15 years ago.I'd fight that one. Skating ain't driving. Get me on public intoxication if you want but a DUI or DWI? Nope. I ain't doing the D part of it.
Do you need a driver's license to skate? No.Good luck it was passed into law by the state unicameral about 15 years ago.
You don’t need a license for a go cart or a riding lawnmower or a tractor either. It’s law. You don’t live there so you don’t have to worry.Do you need a driver's license to skate?
No? Then it just needs someone to fight it. Easily challenged actually.
Laws are challenged all the time. You don’t need a license for a go cart or a riding lawnmower or a tractor either. It’s law. You don’t live there so you don’t have to worry.
The whole reason the law was wrote was because multiple dui offenders were using tractors, riding mowers and motorized bikes to go to stores and bars and operating drunk. There was a guy who challenged a dui conviction on a mower. He was still charged, and then they rewrote the law to encompass anything with wheels because drunk rednecks will find a way to propel anything. I have never hear of anyone actually being charged while roller skating, but the way the law is wrote. They can.Laws are challenged all the time.
Politicians gotta learn that they're not "lawmakers" as statists like to call them. They gotta learn that the people are gonna do what they're gonna do and at some point, if they keep making bullshit laws, mobs of constituents are eventually going to drag them out of their offices and fillet them with rusty lawnmower blades. The whole reason the law was wrote was because multiple dui offenders were using tractors, riding mowers and motorized bikes to go to stores and bars and operating drunk. I still wager that you could fight that law because skating is not driving in any way whatsoever. The whole reason the law was wrote was because multiple dui offenders were using tractors, riding mowers and motorized bikes to go to stores and bars and operating drunk.
