Last time I was in there they did have a remodel and moved the showers into the main building. Also I didn t notice any of the employees chain smoking, so maybe they stopped that too. They need to demolish the Motel 6 in the back and open that up for more parking.

It was rebuilt, they need to level the no tell motel out back and pave over that, but the restaurant store and fuel islands have all been redone, I posted as much earlier lol.

Yeah the restaurant was done, oh like end of 2017-early 18 and the rest has been done in the last year.

It needed it. It was like each section of the building was an add-on built by Jim-Bob and Hee-Haw while Billy-Ray provided music with his banjo.
The C-store bathroom was basically a lawnmower shed with a couple of toilets in it.

Very true it was a wierd place, but they sold out I just can’t recall who bought them as I said before I don’t remember if they are 66 branded now or Roadys. Either way, it’s way way better than it used to be.

A truck stop that most places will show to only have parking for 8 trucks, now has room for 75 trucks. Also, the actual truckstop itself (which is currently no more than a convenience store with a Wendy's attached to it, is slated for a rebuild.

- There is another truck stop across the street (great opportunity for a new thread)
- AMBEST is still in business. There are actually a bunch of truckstops with this brand. AMBEST Location Map, Travel & Service Center, AMBEST Express, AMBEST Fuel Stop
- You folks have about a 2 second attention span.

Last time I was there (until today), the other pumps were still there, just hadn't been removed yet.
I'm sure it will remain a bit chaotic as they transform the place.
