Actually just grabbed whatever leftovers were hangin around the kitchen on my way out to work this morning. Threw that bad boy together once I got here. Not bad for a quick lil b'fast.

Seriously though, try the grilled cheese w/bacon I posted earlier. A real treat.
 
Just might have to. Speaking of BACON, seen the prices of it lately? Holy cow, or should i say holy pig, they just jacked it way up there now.
 
Do most the shopping a walmart, i know but its the closest grocery store to me. No costco here. Gotta a sams and a BJs. Same thing just different name. And no you can't get a bj there, nor do they think its funny when you say any mention to it.
 
There used to be a bar & grill kind of place, in either Channahon or Shorewood, IL that was called Sam & Ella's.

I don't know if they named it that on purpose. But I doubt they sold much chicken.

The pulled pork sammich don't sound bad. But since it's fast food, you'd probably have to have a Ph. D in chemistry just to understand the ingredients list.

No doubt, lol. I can get the pulled pork and the sweet potato fries, but a bacon sundae??? That's just plain gross.

I bet it's just bacon bits. And probably not real bacon bits, it'll be that artificial crap you see at salad bars. With all the wide variety of stuff I've seen put on ice cream, I'd have to give it the benefit of doubt til I try it.

Actually I can't "picture" the flavor of it right now cuz all I can taste right now is the coffee I just drank.

I had a recipe for spiced pecans (don't remember where I put it). I made them.......the recipe called for karo syrup, salt, and hot pepper. There were some other ingredients but I can't remember them offhand. It didn't sound appetizing but those were the best spiced pecans I have ever eaten. So perhaps the bacon sundae would be along that line......
 
I made the mistake of trying chocolate covered bacon once... the two do not mix, so nope, not gonna take a chance on the ice cream.

Now, sweet potato fries? oh hell yes! Epecially good if you have a little liquid butter and real maple syrup mixed together to dip them in...
