What do You Collect?

I collect compressed disks in my spine.

That's the price you pay for looking cool riding around in your long nose Pete with no air in the seat!

What don't I it's bad. Salt and pepper shakers/campbells stuff/dolls/clowns/old books/figurines/metal trucks/hot wheels.....lol
It all goes to my g-daughter. And g-son due on christmas.

I actually haven't matured yet, I still collect hockey, football and baseball cards. I don't know what I am going to do with them all, I have 16 photo albums, 20 complete box sets and must be near a thousand just laying in a storage box. Keep me away from e-bay cause I go nuts on that thing, craigs list also is a place I look but get most from the store or yard sales.

Need 'em got 'em need 'em got 'em.lol

With my new dremmel tool I can make glass candle holders from bottles. I can sell candles. I wonder if it is tax deductable, lol.

My girlfriend's step-mom makes soy candles. She's got about a billion or two cluttering up her house.

I collect beer cans.they are more valuable full than empty but I can't help but open them and see whats inside.beer cold deliciouse beer.I take back the empty's that are worth far less more than the full ones but if I bring in enough,They give me more full ones and the process repeats.Kind of like trucking getting more and more broke.Just joking around Kicken Chicken.

I have a Busch can from like 1990 or something. It's right over my computer desk, unopened. I remember stealing 2 of them from my dad's friend when he was over. I was just a kid, probably 10. I hid them in the garage and forgot about them until I was helping my dad clean out the garage when I was a teenager. In 1999, my friend Eric opened one of them and tried to drink it, and spit it out all over the place. The other one is still full. There's no "Nutrition facts" label on it or any surgeon general's warning. I don't know for sure how old it is, but it's got to be from around 1988 or 1989.

I'd spit out Busch beer to, no matter what year it was made. I never knew beer could spoil(sour) until getting into a case of coors that had been sitting in the shed at hunting camp for most of a year where the sun could shine on it. Nasty.

Have you ever had Weizenbier in Germany? Ironman spit that One at first, he thought it was spoiled...

Almost anything that's old, especially tools. I don't use them, I've got new ones for that. Tractors, really nothing in particular anymore, there's too many things that look interesting to me. I've got old cast iron wheels from tractors, old dinner bells, old hitching post heads [cast iron], old bird houses. I don't care much for furniture, but I do have an old AM/Shortwave radio in a console with a 78 rpm turntable, and some albums from the 30 and 40's, Sons of the Pioneers, etc. Pipe and Drum music, even have a stupid Don Ho Christmas album, it really sux. A few vinyl rock albums, I had all the Stones albums from the 60's.
There's just too much interesting stuff out there to be stuck collecting only one thing for me.

No but I have had the german lager and the Irish dark that was so thick you needed a spoon.

I've had people badmouth Busch before. But my friends raised me to drink Busch. It was always the cheapest, except for Old Style, which none of us could stand. One guy told me that Busch is what they mop up off the floor at the Budweiser factory. I always say I gotta get me one of those mops. Ain't nothing wrong with Busch.

How about Guiness? That has GOT to be an aqcuired taste. It makes me want to gag just thinking about it.

Everybody has their own taste. I prefer Genny which a number of people don't. Probably because it isn't some exotic beer but made in the Rochester area. A great campfire beer.

I collect way too many things. I like free swag the best because most people throw that stuff away, and that is what becomes the real collectables. They also don't take up too much space. This list includes:

Advertising pens
Antenna balls
Convention/racing lanyards

I have a collection of t-shirts from racing events I have been to or participated in. I have at least 100 that I have never worn. I wish I had the foresight to consider this many years ago because there are many shirts I don't have anymore.

I also have a nice collection of pre 1970 matchbox, and other diecast and model kits probably worth in excess of $15k Last time I counted I had over 600 pcs, most are in storage.

Some people say I collect cars and motorcycles, but I don't think I have reached the point where I can call it a collection yet.

I've never even heard of Genny. I drink Busch or Budweiser if there's a bunch of us cuz it's cheap and it's good, and it's made in a red state. If I'm drinking by myself I'll get something I like better, like Corona (with lime juice) or Heineken. I like Hornsby's hard apple cider but it's hard to find around here. The liquor store in town has it, but it's warm, overpriced and the store is owned by Arabs.

Genesee, it is a regional beer.
